Im still not convinced Ronda is a household name in terms of wrestling. When I hear the term "house hold name" that makes me feel that everyone knows who she is and what shes doing, regardless of what shes doing. Im willing to bet if you ask majority of non wrestling watchers they might know the name but most likely dont even know shes in the WWE. Bandwagon UFC fans might not know she is in wrestling, but the hardcore ones sure do and they constantly bring up how she got her ass kicked so bad, she went to fake wrestling. Im talking about the people that watch neither though. Like The Rock for instance. Rock is a household name. People know who he is and know he was/is a wrestler at one time but they've never seen a match of his in their life.

Ronda Rousey is most certainly a household name outside of UFC & WWE. At one time I’d say Rousey was one of the most popular female athletes in the world.
As an example, I’ve never watched a single tennis match in my life but I’m familiar with Serena Williams.

As an example, I’ve never watched a single tennis match in my life but I’m familiar with Serena Williams. This is why Ronda/Nikki is main eventing. I know several women who know Nikki Bella, yet have never watched wrestling before. It can attract those people, who also obviously know Ronda Rousey, to say, "Maybe I'll get a free trial of this thing to watch this show." And if they like it, maybe they stick around.

Why did Alexa/Trish turn into a tag team match anyway? Alexa injured? Nerve damage in her arm, thanks to that ish we have to call Raw Women's Champion.

That's like saying Hulk Hogan isn't in that conversation. Charisma, look, mass appeal, and wrestling ability. Couple the sum of those with the right time and right place.... and yea Trish is the greatest. What others have surpassed her in wrestling ability, she makes up for in charisma and overall popularity. She was a household name. The only place Trish Stratus was ever a "household name"... was in her own household. Chyna was a bigger deal than her. Trish had a pretty successful life outside of wrestling, big time fitness modelimg career. She was a TV star in programs with Vince McMahon, The Rock, among others. As the business cooled down she became the face of the women's division for around 4 years. That's a lot of success and visibility. How is she not a household name?

I think everyone might be on different terms when we say "household name". To me a household name is someone that is known in a no wrestling fans house. Rock, Austin, Cena, Hogan would all apply. Trish certainly would not and honestly if it's a non wrestling and non UFC, I dont think Ronda would either. Shes done a lot of stuff but it's not big stuff.

We need Women’s Tag Team titles now more than ever. -- Baby steps. First there should be a 1hr all women's show on the network, THEN introduce Women's tag straps. It'll turn into a clusterfunk if the straps are implemented on TV without a proper base for them to be defended.

Lita moves like the Great Kahli now, maybe she should stay retired.
