We’re really gonna charge more for the variants I don't necessarily have a problem with this, as long as it's not too much more than retail pricing because for me, it's either this, or I possibly spend more in gas continuing to go to multiple stores in and out of my city looking for a single figure. It would be different if it was a single store exclusive, like Target, cause I would only have one locally to go to and one 30min away, but I have 4 Walmarts in my city alone, and that would take a lot of time to go to and keep not finding it. |

We’re really gonna charge more for the variants Of course, it makes business sense, they are there to make money not do people favours, and its a rarer figure, so yeah Some might say its scalping, but thats just ridiculous I wouldn't look at this at scalping because they are a retailer and got the product from its manufacture with the sole purpose to sell it at their store. A scalper would be someone buying something at full price and then marking it up just to sell it. I don't really see it the same when RSC does it with something they get some the manufacture. You can say this could be the case when they go to a Target and find their store exclusives, but I still don't look at it the same as when someone does it to sell on eBay. |

It is scalping. If they sell it higher than the rest of the wave based on it being limited, it's scalping. I don't care, They can do what they want. Comic/toy shops would and will do the same. I look at them as two completely different new Shelton Benjamin elites. Which came to around $30 each after shipping. Pretty normal for brand new elites on RSC. I don't ever see new elite cases in the wild. So the Chase figures and the Backlund/Dunne style exclusives are obviously going to cost more if I really want them

RSC can do whatever they want. They are running a business and not a charity. If you don't like it then you will just have to buy elsewhere.
