Have you seen the Battlepack Jeff Hardy and Edge!?
I hope Mattel doesn't think this is a good Jeff Hardy head scan. The hair is SO off, what is this red dreadlocks lol. Edge head scan isn't any better either.
Bill please dont don't use this for an Elite Attitude era Jeff Hardy.

The facescan itself looks good imo it’s the stupid rageddy ann hair that throws it off. The painted tank top mold has been something I’ve been complaining since the first elites were shown. If they use the painted tank tops on the elites again, that’ll really suck. I’m not too big on the faceprinting technology... some of the figures look like they’re zombies or something. Hope that if and when we get the mesh styled elite Hardyz that they’ll mold the mesh like jakks did with their r3s. I think those figures are still untouchable.

Yeah, I thought this as well... you just know an Elite AE Jeff will have this head - and the dreaded molded tank-top. I actually don't mind this Jeff head that much - but for an Elite version, I'd love them to use the E57 body and have a cloth/mesh shirt (like the Flashback Christian had)... it would look awesome(!). |

The latest 2 pack was such a blunder, like they they paint a tanktop on a bare torso for Matt, and use a tanktop torso for a long sleeve shirt on Jeff. All they had to do was switch the parts, unless it's due to some complicated toy business? |

Call me the devil's advocate but it doesn't look too terrible. The hair is a bit of an issue but I can see Jeff in the face.
I hope this is a trial run for when we inevitably get AE Hardy Elites, especially if we get a mesh shirt like E20 Christian.

The complicated toy business is when they search 'Jeff Hardy Basic' in the Mattel Design Team Super Computer and the tank top torso is the only option. The spreadsheet is real. Looking at the loose proto pics, it looks like they at least tried to replicate the look of mesh by giving him a grayish shirt opposed to straight black. I mean, it doesn't work at all, but it's something...  They keep using the preset formula for him, so he keeps getting that tanktop torso. That effectively kills the mesh look even further. Reminds me of Macho Man's late era figure, where that figure could've been a home run if they used mesh ala Lita opposed to that big bulky shirt. I honestly like both figures sans for Edge's wrinkly face, and I really like Jeff's armbands, but they've got to change Jeff's torso now - he very rarely wears tanktops these days, and back then he typically wore a variety of shirts. As for the head, I don't mind it. I think the red would look better if it wasn't one-tone and had a little orange detailing in it. Hopefully if they decide to go with this one in the future, more colors and a little facial hair will bring out his likeness more. |

I think the faces are there for both, but Jeff’s hair needs a wash over it...so it isn’t just a bright red.
