087-06-2721 all the other numbers your not gona find jack I wish Brickseek for Target still had the inventory count. Between that, and this DPCI pertaining to the entire HOC series, it's not that useful...

I hate all this stuff, buying figures seemed so much more fun before, sku and dpci numbers, whatever, drive to the stores and check, its fun, go on the hunt again

I'm really struggling with how toys and retail work together. Nearly every single store I go to (Target, Walmart, TRU RIP) has nearly empty shelves with the same couple figures warming at each store for each franchise. For example, I still see the same Marvel Legends, Star Wars Black series, WWE figures warming at every store - but the overall inventory is always quite low, so things obviously sell when they come in.
So if the demand is there, it must be a supply issue, but I find it hard to believe neither Hasbro nor Mattel have the capacity to adequately keep up with demand. So it must be a buyer issue at the retail level - they are either not buying enough or distributing properly.
This whole "hunting" thing should really be a thing of the past. By now retailers should have the metrics to properly anticipate and purchase what will sell, or the whole thing should be online, and then it is up to Mattel/Hasbro to produce the proper amounts. The very concept of something being "sold out" online kinda drives me nuts - if the demand is there, just make more. But many online retailers do not even have option for consumers to indicate they want something that's sold out (unlike something like Fright-Rags - they have a very cool inventory system). So what happens? Third party market goes through the roof, the manufacturer misses out on sales, and the consumer gets screwed with high prices and/or wasted trips to retailers.
Someone needs to bomb and modernize the whole foundation because it's rotten.

I think it’s that retail tries to border on getting just enough to charge the price it does, too much and people wait for clearance and too little people are turned off. They just haven’t figured out that sweet spot quite yet. Also, they want you to buy those shelf warmers so they hold until those move, only problem is they don’t move and we just have weeks and months of the same product on the shelf and it only hurts customers who are ready to buy new product.

Has anyone seen these in Mass. yet?
My 2 closest targets have barely had HoC Series 2, let alone 3. I call them twice a week at least and haven't had any luck at all. Really getting frustrated with the inability to find any of these.

Sorry for bumping...But just wanted to express how disappointed I am that I had to resort to eBay to find any Series 2 or 3 HoC...in this case...I caved and bought a Warrior. Think I found a good buy in $35 +Free Shipping. Hoping it's in as good condition as the 3 pictures show....
...But has anybody seen these things regularly on the East Coast (specifically Mass.) yet? I'm still looking for Kane from Series 2 and haven't seen it once. Really losing hope.

The eBay prices are going to drop as more stores get them in. That said I need warrior so if you found a deal online that saves ya gas money then don’t blame ya. I’ve found all of s2 multiple stores except Kane. Guess scalpers are swarming to get him.

087-06-2721 all the other numbers your not gona find jack idk how some people found stuff using other numbers. I used Johnny Gargano dpci and looked it up while I had it in my hand in store and the stores I looked up said out of stock when there were 2 on the shelf.. I don't know how anyone is finding figures using a generic number like this. I used each figure's UPC/DPCI from the last HOC series and found them easily that way.

Hell, I would be happy if I just found the Multiverse Rebirth Superman at Target. I saw a lone Batwoman at one local Target months ago. Haven’t seen any others from the assortment since. lol

It's just that my local Targets get pretty paltry re-stocks and I didn't wanna risk it since I feel Warrior will be the hardest to find anywhere. $35 is also well below the average cost in the secondary market right now, so I had to jump. I'm hoping to find the rest of the set now in store....
I'm also still hoping to find Kane in store too. Still haven't seen HoC Series 2 yet either. Frustrating times!
