I'm really hoping we see more build a set themes in the Flashback line. The original placeholder lineups had Bearer and Piper, so I'd think the Funeral Parlor and Piper's Pit were at least under consideration. I'd love to get some WCW sts as well - maybe the iconic Nitro announce desk or the WCW Saturday Night interview backdrop. It seems like they missed a golden opportunity to a King of the Ring set with the wave 3. They just released a Paul Bearer in the Hall of Champions line, I doubt they will release another one so soon?! I don't think a Build-a-Funeral-Parlor would be a great idea in a line aimed primarily at kids and would probably not be well received by parents. As for the KOTR set, I think Commish Michaels was the next BAF in the basic line but since that line was cancelled they needed somewhere to put that figure and likely decided to make the next elite set a BAF instead of Build-a-set?! I like the build-a-set concept, not sure if it will continue which is why I am thinking of making my own Piper's Pit backdrop- this is the only set I would be interested in.

The next basic wave looked to be Attitude Era themed (Godfather and Mankind are still in Walmart's system, and I believe Big Show and Shane were in the placeholder lineups), so Michaels definitely would have fit in as a BAF. I don't think there would be an issue with the concept of the funeral parlor, but I'm not sure how you fit a casket in both due to size and budget. Then again I'm amazed they were able to fit in all that new sculpting for the Heartbreak Hotel. But I love the build a set concept. The BAF's are a nice bonus, but being limited to suited figures shortens the list of possibilities. It's a great added value, and fits really well with the flashback theme. The series seem to be doing very well so far, so I'm interested to see what direction they go for the 4th set.

I'd like the next Flashback Build-a-Figures to look like this:
Junk Yard Dog (red pants) Hillbilly Jim Nikolai Volkoff Wendi Richter
Build-a-Figure: Captain Lou Albano
A Rock 'n' Wrestling set.

My wants are still pretty much the same --
a 1985-87 era Barry Windham so I can buy two and have one fighting the Horsemen and use the head sculpt on the second for his run as a Horseman.
Stunning Steve - long-haired, ponytail Dangerous Alliance version with a robe
Any of the following teams: Rock n Roll Express, Midnight Express or Freebirds
Some classic ECW stars from the 95-97 roster.
Attitude Era Hardy Boyz

I doubt they have it but I'd love to see a new slim long hair elite Cena.

These figures were shown last year:
bit.ly/RSF2017Pix
I think we already knew about Virgil, but FB Basic Fink wave and FB BAF Summerslam set were also shown as RAF (I think for the first time). Both were out by MLK day/Valentine’s.
Great showing last year. I hope Mattel shows something for everyone!
The only thing I hope they DON’T show are new faceprinted Legends. Eeks...

I have been waiting for a red pants JYD for a long time...I had his LJN figure with red pants as a kid so I would love a new version MOC...Wish they would recreate a lot of those classic LJNs from the Rock n Wrestling era, great idea!

Another RVD would be nice. Maybe a new Entrance Stage, or switchable ring aprons for the main event ring. Probably no chance ,but a Sean O’Haire figure would be great .

RETRO FIGURES!
Retro rings/entrance stages from Attitude Era RAW/SmackDown, WCW Nitro/Thunder and some of the bigger PPVs from the era. I know it's a pipedream for the stages, but the rings are possible.

An announcement announcing a deal with Walmart that mirrors the one Ringside had held for years with Sears and Kmart. Please?
