Rather than make two threads, I figured I'd condense them into one.
IF true, I think this could be great for Ryder & for 205 Live. I love Ryder but he just needs some direction. 205 needs stars. Win/Win IMO.
One of WWE’s most beloved Superstars, Zack Ryder, is rumored to be transferred to 205 Live. Ever since his Youtube rise a few years ago, Ryder has been over with the fans, but drifting aimlessly around Smackdown Live’s jobber hell and not consistently getting screen time.
With Mike and Maria Kanellis debuting on the show, our sources tell us that WWE is looking to move as many guys under 205 pounds and no creative direction over to the brand.
Nothing is set in stone, but the biggest problem with this transition is that Ryder weighs 224 pounds meaning he would have to drop around 20lbs to make it onto the brand. Cedric Alexander was put in a similar position with the Cruiserweight classic and lost a tremendous amount of weight to compete tournament.

If you’ve been watching Drew McIntyre’s matches every week, then you probably noticed how he is always protected and they have made sure not to pin him.
Seth Rollins qualified for the World Cup on Raw in a match against McIntyre but it was a countout finish and done in a way to protect McIntyre. The show ended with McIntyre taking out Strowman with the Claymore kick.
Dave Meltzer discussed McIntyre’s push on Tuesday’s Wrestling Observer Radio and it looks like there are big plans in store for him.
“The whole Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre thing was supposed to be…it was supposed to be a takeoff on Shawn Michaels and Diesel,” Meltzer said, “When Shawn Michaels and Diesel were put together, the idea was to build Diesel to be a superstar because he ticked all the boxes. Hopefully, this one works better…We know [at least] half of it will be better because Drew McIntyre is a much better wrestler than Kevin Nash. Whether he can carry a company, you never know until a guy is put in that position.”
McIntyre’s first run with the company was lackluster but he admits that he was not ready because he was immature at the time. By all accounts, McIntyre is a different person these days and seems ready to embrace a main event push.
It seems like it’s only a matter of time before he’s in the mix for a world title push.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this. And I wasn't none to pleased with the shot at Nash.
But IF true, it's great news regardless. I'd love to see him and Roman in a feud over the title. Have Roman go for a Spear but run into a Claymore. Would be a fantastic finish.
