Do you think WWE would ever sell/bundle or otherwise cross-promote the WWE Network with one of the big streaming companies or distributors? Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, etc. For example, if you are a subscriber to Amazon Prime Video then you have access to WWE Network included. What do you think? While this would cost WWE a bit to have it on another platform, it would extend the reach much farther than it currently is.

Why would the WWE do that when they themselves are their own streaming distribution website with it being the WWE Network??
No need to go to Netflix, AmazonPrime, Hulu when you know.... they have their own site for that already called the WWE Network!

This could be a novel strategy to recruit new subscribers. For example, if the WWE Network were made available on Amazon Prime Video and could be bundled with the subscription, existing and new subscribers would be inclined to include/consolidate it.

I think that the Network is too niche of a product, without the mass appeal that the brand once carried, to make jumping in with one of the more broad based services in the hopes of attracting a few new subscribers carry much reward.

it could potentially have been a viable module. however, they’ve already developed their own independent platform. I could potentially see a cross marketing platform to some degree, although I could only really see that if wwe crosses back into the mainstream in a major fashion and becomes ‘must-see’ once again.

I see what the OP is saying. Not outright selling or partnering up, but some kind of joint venture. For example, I have Amazon Prime and there are ways to get Showtime, HBO, etc. through your Prime subscription. I'm not sure how much of an impact it would have, though.

I highly doubt it. I can see UFC doing this with their streaming service because it's more-or-less just a hobby to them, but the WWE Network is WWE's future, and they want 100% of the revenue from it, not just a portion.

I think the biggest hurdle is that Prime doesn't show live event with their channels. I know this was an issue for a lot of people when Shudder did their drive in marathon with Joe Bob Briggs, and it would be an even bigger one with WWE.

I could see them allowing the Network to be an add on for cable replacement streaming services like Sling. So you pay for it through Sling (or Hulu, fubo, PS Vue etc)b and get all the WWE content in their app instead of in a separate WWE app.
I can't believe that no one has created a content aggregation app. Something that you can link all your accounts to and get everything in one place. Like Movies Anywhere but for streaming.

HBO, Showtime, and others are available through Amazon. So instead of me having to download an app for every network I want, I can just get them through Amazon and have one app. It's convenient.
