So I realised that the older I get, the more I understand Al Bundy...
Back in the day I use to watch it for Christina Applegate... but the older I get the more I get it!
This was easily one of the best sitcoms ever!!!!
Even King Kong Bundy made an appearance once, one of my fave episodes.
Does anybody else remember the good old days? What were some of your fave eps?

I started watching around season 2 when it aired, I watched all the reruns when it was on syndication and I have all the episodes on DVD. My favorite episodes were
The Supermarket Shopping Spree episode Al and Bud go to the Nudie Bar for Buds birthday Al kicks out a woman for breastfeeding in his shoe store Al gets his drivers license Al goes to Las Vegas and wrestles Big Bad Mama

Still one of my favorite all time shows, ever. I don't know for others, but for me, I enjoyed the show more, after Steve left, and Jefferson became Marcy's new husband. I think he just jelled better with Al and the No Ma'am guys. While there are so many good episodes, one that pops into mind at the moment, was when Al and the guys were trying to set up the dish on Al's roof. Between the guys constantly falling off, to the wives having betting odds on who falls and where, to the guys finally realizing the roof was the perfect hang out spot, it was such a funny episode. I also liked how when it was time for Buck to retire, they actually gave an episode devoted to the Bundys loosing him. And man, you look at the run of the show, they had a pretty impressive list of guest stars, some before they made it big. And I'm glad it came out when it did. Could you imagine how quickly it'd get canceled in today's world? So I realised that the older I get, the more I understand Al Bundy... As long as the episodes don't feature their nephew Seven, any one is awesome.

yeah Jefferson was his sidekick, Steve was more like a rival he actually makes a cameo after too.
The first few eps are rough to watch but i like it for the nostalgia of the time, the clothes, the furniture...
and who can forget BIG'UNS MAGAZINE!
Actually when I was a kid this show and The Simpsons were banned for me!!! nowadays I don't think they are that bad, I guess at the time they were controversial

it’s like the one sitcom I’ve never really watched. feel I need to give it a try because I’m a fan of Al’s sarcastic personality.

Loved it. I remember watching the first episode when it aired. It was a regular watch for me for quite a few seasons while I was in middle school/high school. I have to admit though that I don’t enjoy rewatching it.

One of my favorite shows of all time. There are so many great episodes and Al is truly such a great character. One of my favorite episodes is when they have no AC and Al walks around the grocery store to stay cool. When he keeps dropping the items for the girl to bend over and pick up gets me every time. Thank you, no thank you

This was the first show that I found myself saying "That's still on TV?" and it's still hard to believe that the show lasted eleven seasons. I liked the first four seasons of the show (the Steve years) but it was also when the core writing group consisted of Ralph Farquhar, Ellen Fogle, Sandy Sprung, and Marcy Vosburgh. Three of those writers moved on (with series creator Ron Leavitt) to Unhappily Ever After trying to recreate Married With Children but failed. I will say that one of my favorite episodes is from Season 5, the Jefferson era, "Oldies but Young 'Uns" where Al is trying to figure out the name of a song. Season 6 the writers kind of wrote themselves into a bad spot with the pregnancy story line. I still like the show overall but the first four seasons were just magic in a bottle.

Easily.
Specifically? I love the Christmas episodes. When Peg's mom takes on the phone s*x job, and all Al's friends buy into it? Outstanding. And the first Christmas ep when Santa lands in their backyard?
This is one of those that I really hope gets brought back to life. I know that Faustino has been working intensely for it, for years, and they all said they'd come back to take part.
But it has to be on Fox. I don't think any other station would give them the freedom that show requires. It also would get a LOT of heat in today's PC/SJW garbage climate.

Sometimes I watch Modern Family & like to think that Al won the lotto, left his family, ran off with one of the strippers from the Jiggly Room and this is his life now. I just cant let go of an American Icon.
