Same here, Macho King is the way to go. One of my top 5 Hasbro's, too. As for Hogan, I liked his series 3 figure. Better for playing than his series 1 and 2 figures. Yeah, Hogan 1 and 3 are both really good. I just like #1 for being the first, and the classic Hulk Rules shirt. I also really like Macho Man #3, even though he doesn't have the crown and scepter, the card art almost makes up for it.Yeah, the artwork on the card is very good. I think #3 would have been received better if it didn't look so close to the #2. It would have been great if they could have painted some long tights on him. It would have been better had they molded the bandana on his head like the series 3 sketches have shown and maybe given him a different color tights, maybe the bright orange from his WM5 match, at least then it would have felt like a different figure.

Yeah for sure, any long tights version would have been sweet, would have been cool to get the purple/green tights like the RR mini. My assumption was always that Macho King would just be a same as S2 re-issue, but then he dropped the king gimmick, so they just lazily dropped the accessories and changed the card art. Piper is also shown as a repack in S3 if you look at the Hasbro catalog pictures.

But simply changing the color of the tights from purple to any other color he wore would have been better than a straight re-release without the crown and scepter. Not surprised that they repacked the Piper with the series 3 figures, I believe he was still apart of the company at the time they were released and it would make sense to continue to sell a figure of a still very popular wrestler. I believe they did the same thing with Jake, his series 1 figure was still being sold during series 2, I have a Hasbro Jake figure with the back of the card showing the figures from series two.

Yep, I think Jake, Beefcake #1, Bossman #1 and maybe Rude were repacked in S2. All 4 are shown in the assortments in the Hasbro catalog. However I don't know if I've seen Rude on a S2 cardback. I think they wound up replacing him with Honky, but I also heard Honky replaced Dusty in cases, so not sure.

Great stuff. I had that Bret back in the day and recently obtained one MOC too, one of my fave Mattels. I’m not a big fan of grading but if u do, def use AFA as others have suggested. It’s the best quality and also what most buyers are more likely to acknowledge.

That Bret is easily one of the best Hasbro's.

That Bret is easily one of the best Hasbro's. Definitely, his body type made it easy to do his moves. You could do the mid rope elbow and the arms worked well for the sharpshooter. As for Honkytonk and Rick Rude. I do believe the original card back for singles had Rick Rude and the bottom had the tag teams listed while the next card back had Honkytonk as a single and the tag teams down from four (R&B etc) to three (Demo, Rockers, Bushwhackers).

Great additions, like them both, two of my favorites. You are definitely adding some of the more expensive and harder to find Hasbro's to your collection (S8 Bret, S3 Warrior, S3 Macho, SS Warrior).

Thanks bro, worst part is - I have 4 left that are musts for me. Blue Card Hitman (x2) Hogan (shouldn’t be to bad price wise) Red Card Taker (that is going to be expensive lol)

Hogan though depends on which figure, the series 1 figure seems to go for the most followed by series 3.
