Also, just in case Mattel is reading this, it would be great if they fix the paint job on the Sensational Queen Sherri figure. The proto shown has the strap upper body mold but the straps are not painted purple, the skin is painted purple and the molded straps are skin tone color. I hope Mattel can fix that. The mold works great, but the paint job was just done wrong for some reason.

I was hoping this was just a proto thing. I still don’t see why they don’t have a plain body mold for women. Them straps that show on some figures are pretty tacky. Not super noticeable from far away but up close it looks like a custom job. Pretty sweet figure though

Probably best they use the same torso Alundra Blayze uses and just paint the details. Its better then having a weird strap non painted

That would be the smart thing to do and the figure would look perfect. I hate it when they use the strap mold and just put the paint wherever. It makes for a very poor figure presentation that just looks sloppy.

Not gonna bother me, buying it just for the head and putting it on maryse for semi HBK era. Little paint job should do the trick.

It’s not the strap paint it’s the torso mold. They refuse to make a blank female chest mold and keep using the Kelly Kelly bikini top mold

Also belly buttons. Why is that both Ronda and Sherri's belly buttons are visible on the mold despite them wearing clothes/gear that covers their stomach? Is this the only lower torso/ab mold Mattel has for female (aside from Nia Jax)?

I'm getting it also for the head, I like the Maryse idea with HBK but the gown would work for Macho King era. Either way I'm not that pissed, but the belly button is more an issue for me personally

I like how the Basic Naomi had a plain body, no straps, no raised parts. Just a nice blank canvas. Why not make a blank canvas body with “slim” and “muscular” molds? Then they could paint whatever they wanted. For awhile, those Charlotte upper bodies were looking terrible. Just about all the women have the same bodies. Alicia, Naomi, Becky, IIConics could have the slimmer blank mold. Nattie, Charlotte, Sarah Logan and Dana Brooke could have the muscular mold. The “AJ Lee” body could be used for Vega and Liv Morgan. I just don’t see why guy bodies don’t have the lazily painted jobs as the women do. BOTH Emma figures were painted so tacklessly. The first one had pant type legs painted flesh and the straps were way too obvious. I didn’t like her personally but it sucks both her figures had a “ehhh screw it” paint job 😂

Some people on here make suggestions or demands without taking the fact that mattel have budgets and limitations sometimes. I agree with you about having a blank body. Yeah, the second and third Charlotte figures had those weird skin straps. The current Charlotte body is great and they can re-use it for so many outfits which is pretty smart.

It just shocks me because Mattel started off so good 😭 I’m not saying their work is bad, it’s just getting lazy and routine. I like the Charlotte bodies but really, she could have used a blank body with painted on straps. I just think it would be a better idea to have a universal body mold in a few different styles.
Take Barbie for instance. They have the tall, petite and thick bodies now. Nothing changes but the heads and the clothing. I think that would be a good idea for the WWE women. So what if the curves or height is a bit off. I’d rather have minor differences over the skin colored straps or painted over straps.
With the recent change in articulation, would would have made perfect sense to just get different body molds that are blank. The only woman who should have a vastly different body is Nia.
