I went to heroes and legends Fort Wayne Indiana. This was the first time going to this event and it was a blast. Everything was well organized and easy to find. I always take my 8 year old son with me when I go to a show so it has to be kid friendly. I got 5 autographs there.
Mark Henry- this was by far the best of the 5. Mark was very friendly and interacted with my son. He took his time and made the experience memorable. Cost for meet and greet was $50 which wasn't bad but he charged me $10 extra to sign a figure so I ended up paying $60.
D'Lo Brown- again very nice. Not as talkative as Mark Henry but answered any question we asked. Nice autograph.
Virgil- not the best experience. I was aware of people having issues with Virgil but he was very different. He kept swearing with my son right there and looked like he was not all there. My son even said he's very weird. No big deal. He signed my figure but we didn't get a picture.
Doing The Clown Ray Apollo- ok experience. Seemed like he was just there for the money. His handler had a shirt that said "feed me money". Got a picture and it turned out good.
Ron Simmons- Seems like a great guy. Very friendly and happy. They sat him next to Mark Henry and D'Lo Brown so they were doing Nation Of Domination pictures also which was cool. You could tell those guys really liked each other. Good with my son. Personalized the figure to him which was cool.
Overall great experience. Will definitely do again.

ftc I went ahead and moved this to the correct board. You had it in Tech Helpdesk. Have at it though!

Looks great, man. I see you used the BallQube Cereal Box for the large Elite style packaging the Big Show figure came in. That's what I was doing for those larger Elites I had on display, too. And I see you used all colored paint markers. I started off with nothing but silver because I thought that looked the best, and I greatly regret it now because most of the figs I got signed in silver paint markers just don't pop out while on display as much as the colored ones I've used since then, other than a Bayley Basic I got signed, but I think that came out best because I met her at the WWE PC and she wasn't in a rush to sign it like she would have been at a meet & greet, she actually took her time to make sure it came out as great as it did. But I still wish I could go back and get it done in sky blue or something like that.
As far as what you said about Virgil, I had his Elite figure ready to be signed during the 2018 WrestleCon event. His handler was walking around earlier on one of the days and told me it would be $20. When I found his booth, Virgil himself told me it'd be $50. I looked over to his handler, didn't say anything, just waiting for him to step in to say something, never did, just had a look of disappointment, and I told Virgil I'd come back with some cash later, and I never did. In hindsight, I should have just done it, but I was low on cash and just didn't feel like spending the extra $30 at that very moment. But if he would have said $30, I had that cash on me and would have done it, just didn't feel like spend $50 on Virgil at that moment.

I like your report, keep them up! I don't go to shows but enjoy reading them on the board and like to live vicariously through them. The agent is Eric Simms. He's actually a really good guy and has a large client base of wrestlers. He goes to great lengths to make sure a show is worth the while of his wrestlers. I can't say I know Eric as a friend, thought I do know him personally and I've been around him or with himenough to be able to attest that I admire his business and work ethic in a business that doesn't always have those qualities.

This is great -- but you should consider using Paint Pents for the autos. They come out much better. check out the Fully Poseable Wrestling Figure podcast -- they have some great advice on getting figures signed

I'm making the 6 hour trip to Louisville comic Con this weekend to meet Kane, Booker T, and Jerry The King Lawler. Anyone have any suggestions on what color paint pens to use. Getting the following signed: Hall of champions Kane Elite 47B Kane Hall of Fame Jerry Lawler Hall of Fame King Booker Let me know. Thanks

Hacksaw Jim Duggan Autograph imgur.com/gallery/qylPgMQLast week I went to Wrestling night at the Central Illinois Aces game to meet Hacksaw Jim Duggan. When we got there there was very few people there so I knew we wouldn't have a hard time getting an autograph. We were in a line with about 30 people in it when the game started. Jim was taking his time and talking with everyone. My kids went with me and he made them feel comfortable. He wanted to make sure he personalized anything signed if we wanted. Overall a great experience.

Sharpies are cool for 8x10s and most posters, but signed figures look a lot better with paint markers, and I would imagine would make them last a lot longer than sharpies.
