I normally don't make posts in this thread, but while talking about Ronda's Elite 65 fig, I got an idea. What about...
With that, we wouldn't get anymore poses with the arms stuck to the side. So someone like Finn could have the jacket and the hands to do his entrance pose.

I would definitely like to see this for someone like the Miz whose coats are so detailed and with the extra movements for his arms would be beneficial.

I think sometimes Bill says stuff just to be polite, or because he needs to come up with something on the spot, or to deflect a "why the f*** don't we have this yet" question. Yes, of course he's receptive to the idea of swappable parts and "always looking for ways to improve the figures". He's a figgin' toy designer, he'd have to be completely incompetent to not know about how wildly popular swappable parts are, especially with Marvel Legends and Figma doing it for so long already. I don't believe he's at all surprised at how positive the feedback has been for the alt heads and hands, that's a "no s***" kind of reaction from the fans.
I have no problem with Bill though, I think it's just the nature of live interviews.
Maybe they could have one figure per wave with swappable jacket arms, while the other figures come with less or pre-existing accessories to compensate for their cost. |
