I just came back from Survivor Series about a half hour ago. Had I decided to have just watched the show with all of you guys, I probably believe that I would have had the same bitter taste in my mouth as a lot of you. All I can say is that I had a fun time being there in person and the people around me were pretty cool and made the experience worth it. The main roster was going to have a tall task in having a better show than last night's NXT Takeover. The weakest match on the show was probably AOP/Bar. Plus, the fact that goofball Enzo Amore had to make a ing scene in the front row just a couple of feet away from me really left a sour taste in my mouth. If he had kept his head down and go away for a while, there might have been a chance that WWE would have welcomed him back. Now, he pretty much screwed that up for himself. I knew that Seth Rollins could bring something out of Nakamura. Easily one of, if not, the best main roster match Shinsuke's had, probably since his debut match with Sami Zayn. I assume the match with Ronda and Charlotte went the same way that it would have gone if Becky wrestled tonight. Charlotte was one of the most popular stars on this show, and this is coming from one of her biggest detractors. Hell, I couldn't help but cheer Charlotte on as she beat up Ronda with that Kendo stick and Pillmanize Ronda. Nia Jax and Bork were the biggest heels on the show. We gave Nia hell for what she did to Becky and Brock got some hell for putting on the exact same match that we expect out of him. While I can understand why WWE is capitalizing on Nia injuring Becky, I just find it disheartening to see that she's essentially being rewarded for injuring one of their top stars and she's had a history of injuring girls like Zelina Vega and Bayley, as well as nearly killing Charlotte twice in a match. We'll just have to wait and see the aftermath of this PPV after they had Smackdown get swept in every important SS match. Edit: I just realized that WWE had the dysfunctional Raw team completely obliterate the SamckDown team, who were on the same page throughout the show. .

I know theirs little chance of it happening but I hope that this is leading to the end of the failed brand split.RAW goes 6-0 and the fact that Lars Sullivan is debuting and they didn't say to which brand might be some signs.Maybe again I am hoping that the WWE has woken up and figured out that their ratings have been down and that their currently missing a ton of talent do to injury or other reasons in Cena,Reigns,Lynch,Bliss,Hardy,Wyatt,Owens,Zayn...ect and that guys like Strowman & Lashley according to rumors are in bad shape right now and need time off and possibly surgery. You put all these factors together plus now moving to Fox in a little less then a year and maybe the WWE finally comes to their sense. With one brand you still have five hours of weekly TV plus the network to get all the talent that you need proper screen time.Plus you don't have to have talent on every show or even on every week. The rosters too crowded for one brand. There's people not getting shine with two brands as it is, imagine it with only one brand.

Not to mention the insane injury list they have at the moment, as well as annual NXT call ups. I wasn't a fan of the brand split at first but I definitely wouldn't call it a failure. Its helped guys like AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose get huge pushed that they otherwise probably wouldn't have had with one brand. Imagine Lesnar took the WWE title hostage for a year and a half without a second world title?

Of course they have Bryan job to lesnar. this company man.
Might as well have just left the belt on AJ if that was gonna happen. AJ Could've afforded the loss. “Job” he was a second away from making him tap..

Why does Lesnar have good matches with smaller guys and crappy ones with guys his size. Look back at his entire career and that’s his thing. I will say he does his job well he sold the hell out of Bryan’s moves and takes decent bumps when asked to however.... I also miss that 2003 lesnar that dude was a genetic freak beast, think of his wee career if he would have gotten a softer schedule . The current lesnar always looks like he skips leg day. 2003 lesnar could Flex. His thigh and knock people out. Because you’re offered different style matchups with guys like CM Punk, AJ Styles, and Daniel Bryan, even when he had the triple threat that involved Rollins. It seems that he likes working with guys who don’t actually pose a threat and has fun creating a match with that “can they actually do it?!” feeling. It’s clear none of those matches were really called during the match and he went over stuff backstage unlike his other matches where he more than likely went out there and they made up the match on the spot like he did with Ambrose.

I can’t get past what a bunch of hypocrites run this company. To put it in perspective, if a gust of WIND blows too hard on a wrestlers head, they’ll sideline said wrestler to “protect” them and then tell everybody how proactive they are about concussions, BUT a wrestler DELIBERATELY punching a top superstar in the head and concussing them ON PURPOSE, injuring them, and keeping them off a show that they were arguably the draw to...is reason to be rewarded. I must have missed the part where the fans who bought tickets to see Becky vs Ronda SHOULDNT be upset by this, as well as anybody who purchased WWE network just to see that match. It’s one thing to say “card is subject to change”, it’s another to rub the change in everybodies face, especially when somebody PURPOSEFULLY went into business for themselves and are being rewarded for it.
So see guys, at any time, Rollins, or Ambrose should have just decked Roman Reigns in the face, hurting him, and then they’d be pushed because of it! Right!? Oh, that wouldn’t work with one of McMahons beloved? Of course not, they’d be fired for doing that. Nia can get away with it because, A) shes part of the right bloodline and B) McMahon is still upset that Lynch got over despite their best efforts to hold her down. So all this is funny to him. God FORBID if somebody did this to Roman. I’m sure it would be all funny then.

Not a very good pay-per-view. Rhonda verse Charlotte was pretty cool but other than that, very predictable and boring. This has been beaten into the ground but having these matches with no build to them and no story to be told doesn’t get me excited.

They were quick to run with the '#FaceBreaker'gimmick and capitalize on the nuclear heat Nia has with the crowd right now to create a major heel. Even though the whole storyline crumbles kayfabe since by storyline logic wrestlers would try to hurt each other. And Becky should ultimately be in the wrong since she led the charge and picked the fight really costing herself by storyline logic. But as far as Nia purposely hurting Becky. I'm not gonna go that far. I think she did get overzealous and is wreckless but I don't think her intention was to go that far and put Becky out costing her one of the biggest matches of her career.

Don't know if it's been said, but thank you WWE for letting us know that the pre-show is meaningless. You made that abundantly and expressly clear throughout the night by dismissing Graves.

Every woman and their mother are trying to become Becky Lynch. You have a bunch of NXT people (Dakota Kai springs to mine as she's going by the Kingslayer or Architect or another one of Seth's nicknames--an issue he tweeted about when he asked all the ladies to stop stealing his nicknames) talking big games now. They are taking something organic (Becky) and trying to replicate it with everyone (Charlotte, Dakota Kai) thinking it will work. If you carry it down a slippery slope, you're going to see a lot of faux injury angles (RONDA) to help try and get heat. I don't think any WWE or wrestling superstar is that stupid to think legit knocking out someone will help them get a push, but WWE will be doing storylines from thsi point forward that include a lot of aggression and a lot of "injuries" to try and get some crowd reaction out of the offending superstar. Problem: This is just going to be XPac heat in the end. If it's not organic, it's not going to work. I'm already tired of booing Nia. I'll boo her because she sucks, but not because she's a heel.

If they really wanted a Raw clean sweep I don't see what the problem was with letting the Revival complete the come back and give them a bit of a rub.

I just thought of something: Am I the only one who thinks it's stupid that everybody wrestles in a brand shirt? I mean it makes no sense for certain people to wrestle in that stupid plain barnd shirt. Imagine Taker or Kane being in a match like that, would you take them seriously if they had a shirt like that? Of all the men, Jeff Hardy & Shane were the ONLY ones that didn't have the brand shirt on. It's just so weird to me

As fans we already know which superstars are on what show.
