Should the WWE World Cup Best in the World tournament be a yearly thing? Or should this tournament only be a one-off? WWE has missed or has failed to grasp the concept of World because if they didn't they would have 8 superstars from other countries representing their countries. Then we would or could have had an international feel to the tournament with 8 superstars from other countries fighting it out to truly determine who is the best in the world.
So to answer my own question, yes I do think that this tournament should be a yearly thing. However to truly make it better you have 8 superstars from other countries in the WWE who are on RAW or SD Live or 205 Live or NXT or NXT UK competing.

No, it’s okay as a one off thing like the Greatest Royal Rumble but by RAW it won’t mean a damn thing. If they should bring back any tournament it should be King of the Ring with the winner getting a title shot at SummerSlam again.
Also this years tournament hasn’t even finished, stop making so many pointless threads smh.

no. It doesn't mean anything now, it won't mean anything on RAW on Monday, it won't mean anything on SD! on Tuesday.

It could be if handled correctly. And, you know, held in a different, less-journalist-slaughtering country...

It could be if handled correctly. And, you know, held in a different, less-journalist-slaughtering country... Exactly finally someone with sense I mean, holding a "Best in the World" tournament would seem to necessitate international competition. To take out the few examples in the first round and leave all US competitors in the final 8 harkens too much back to Tr... Well anyway, I wished they had used 2 brackets: one for American stars and one for international stars. Take the four out of each bracket who advanced and put them together at the event.

no. It doesn't mean anything now, it won't mean anything on RAW on Monday, it won't mean anything on SD! on Tuesday. Actually it will on Tuesday considering Shane probably won to build towards Raw v Smackdown at Survivor Series

No. Especially if Shane McMahon is winning the inaugural tournament.

I'd rather King of the Ring make a yearly return.

I'd rather King of the Ring make a yearly return. The only tournament in WWE history that matters.

Shane O' Mac as the first winner???
I'd pass on this ever being done again.

The tournament is best off as a one time thing. And as for the participants in tbis tournament, it was to appease the Saudis in who they wanted. The World Cup tournament was just to try and make sense of the tournament.

I'm set that WWE really just doesn't give a crap about winning any new audience members after this.
This is like the first Woman's Money in The Bank controversy all over again.

Shane McMahon isn't the best at anything unless you count his horrible dance that no one else does

I'd like to see it return as a Survivor Series type show. Teams of 5 facing each other all leading to the last two teams which hopefully every year won't be Team USA - RAW vs Team USA - SDLive.
Maybe have the teams consist of men and women as not every international team would have enough men or women to make up the 5 members. Could be something like
1. Team Australia: Buddy Murphy, Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm and The Mighty vs Team Japan: Akira Tozawa, Hideo Itami, Io Shirai, Kairi Sane and Shinsuke Nakamura. 2. Team UK: Charlie Morgan, "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher, Jinny, Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate vs Team USA - RAW: Alexa Bliss, Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman, Ember Moon and Seth Rollins. 3. Team Canada: Bobby Roode, Maryse, Natalya, Sami Zayn and The Miz representing Canada because of Maryse. Also because The Marine was filmed there. Probably. Vs Team USA - SDLive: AJ Styles, Carmella, Charlotte, Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe.
And probably a Mexico team, Team representing Europe, maybe a NXT US Team and a Team Worldwiiiiiiiide featuring any left over talent.
