OK so out of the stores mentioned in this thread, Are Big Lots & Walgreens the only one's that sell Elites? I've only seen basic style figures at the rest that I've gone to. I know someone said Dollar General had elites, but I went to 2 stores a few times and they didn't have any WWE at the time. (Never been to Burlington but there is a new one nearby I'll check out). None of these stores have anything in particular in their normal assortments. They're each stocked based on unmoved merchandise from larger retailers. All of the stores listed in the title have had Elites at one point or another, but it's never a guarantee.

I'm still getting into the swing of things w/collecting, it's been a while. A lot has really changed.

I think it just various as to what the stores get. Big Lots is very much the most consistent at getting elites. Walgreens isn't a place to go for cheap elites as they're not a discount store, but they do get elites sometimes. Five Below went through a lot of elites in 2018, but not so much in 2019. Ollie's gets elites as well. Not sure how often a Marshalls or TJ Maxx get elites. I had never heard of Burlington getting elites, but they have recently. There are going to be a lot of basics at these stores as well.

The last time I saw an Elite styled figure at Burlington was the Legends line. Wait that’s a lie I know I picked up my extra DM Bret there and I think I picked up my DM Cena there as well.

I guess. From a kid's point of view, 3 out of 4 of these guys don't wrestle on tv at all anymore. Sometimes I wonder about the choices and the target market for items like these. I completely get what you mean. Kids still love John Cena and now a days kids watch wwe clips on their phones and ipads so they can know all about any wrestler they want. Plus kids probably still look at Undertaker the way we did growing up. I was 12 in 2005 when I first saw Undertaker and have seen him as an amazing legend from the first time I saw him to now, screw ups and all. Plus the Kane figure can either be for the dad to play with or it can just be marketable from the standpoint of "His outfit is amazing and John Cena needs someone to wrestle lol

Went to a Marshall's today for the first time since the Retro 8s were popping up. I saw a Finn Balor mask on clearance for about $4 and the Hardy/Edge WM35 2-pack clearanced down to $10.
Around the corner I spotted Kofi and Matt Hardy from Basic 94 but surprisingly enough I saw an Elite Shelton Benjamin package. I was surprised as I had never seen an Elite and then when I pulled it out, sure enough it was the Gold Standard Chase version and marked at $9.99. I noticed the packaging appeared to be French Canadian. Picked up Shelton and went back and grabbed the Finn mask for the heck of it.

Retro Series 8 and 9 have begun to show up at Five Below. Spotted 8 in person (Racine, WI) and saw a few reports of Wave 9 on twitter, both in Florida. edit - Also spotted wave 7

checked out five below this morning-red Sonya, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, Matt Hardy. Same old basics. Plus those bendy figures for 3.25, and the mini figure box set I think was $5.
This location gets much less business than the other one I go to, so hopefully tomorrow I find something good at the other store considering they probably have gotten some new stock.

Maybe they'll trickle down that way. Today was the first day I've seen the Series 9 retros. Didn't really see any other Elites at Marshalls, my Big Lots is still carrying WrestleMania Elites from last year.

Today I went to 3 Marshalls. One had nothing new. The other had one lone Shelton elite plus the usual stuff already mentioned here. The last one had same old wwe stuff but they had that big box with the ring & 4 dolls on clearance for $40
My 5below had the same basics they had last time I went there plus now they have the jinder yellow macho man basics. No retros. I have yet to see the sonya basic series at my 5B
Tjmaxx had the same boring wwe basics but I did see the motu wind raider lego type toy for i believe $12

WEnt to pickup my Ghostbusters Taker at Walmart, and I went to the busier Five Below and they're stocked to the ceiling with Basic 95. They had all of them. They also had x2 each of Retro 8, plus Bendies, all the MUSCLE sets, mini figure box set, and something called OSHAS or something like that. Kinda like Pop figures (at least to me).
Random stuff at TJ Maxx, they had what looked to be a case of the series with Dean & Seth, Jinder & AJ, and whatever the other set is. A couple basics E & Woods in matching gear. Sheik & Hardy both x1 on clearance for $4.
Marshalls had the DX pegwarmer pack. and a Hardy retro.
Big lots still had the 2 Romans from E62, one missing the belt. These are still leftover from weeks ago when they had a case and I got Sting & Dude Love.
That's the discount store report for today, Terra signing off. Back to you Gorilla.

A+ on the naming slip though, because the idea of a line of vinyl type collectibles names for the Occupational Safety & Health Administration gave me a much needed case of the giggles.
