I thought the True FX didn’t start til E63 and the Best of 2018 wave? Some figures use it already like E61 AJ and KO. E62 Roman and AOP. Gotcha. Yeah, that makes me a little more hesitant to order any more of these without seeing them in person. Especially after checking my AoP. Akam is great. Rezar is fine -- except his eye.

I was pretty blown away when my E64 Rollins came in the mail. Looks great. I saw the Elite Owens in Target yesterday and thought it looked great as well. I don’t think pictures do them justice and they look so much better in hand.

The quality control on these True FX is getting out of hand. It’s a shame, because under normal circumstances, that KO scan looks great. Thankfully, mine look good.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but I’ll ask anyways.
Has anyone returned a figure because of this? If so, where did you buy/return it? Was it Walmart or did you return it to Ringside? Were they cool about it?

The budget version of truefx on the basics is the real shame. There's a bunch of new basics that renewed my interest in that line but then the final product have all been attrocious.

I don't see anything wrong this figure.. Not sure if serious but two thumbs down for FX scans.

Of course some will go wrong but when they are done right the beards and eyes are top notch, people were crying before and there were botches on the old printing style aswell.

Check out this Ronda that I received today. I'm going to just buy another and throw this one into the bin. Tyson Kidd and John Cena's mashed together. That is REALLY BAD!

The ones I have in hand are incredible. Razor sharp. Almost hauntingly accurate. Tough to see that there are some flaws on the front end of this process. Have to hope they will work their way out of the system and we will see less defects moving ahead.

you do realize how many are made, right? a handful out of thousands is pretty minimal. you just have bad luck with the paint jobs apparently What? You mean the 4 people on a chat forum arent the majority? the way they act, you'd think they are

We’re the UE 3 pack part of the TFX test run? Cause they have some pretty incredible head scans...

Not gonna lie, I'm not a fan of the True FX yet. The potential is clearly there, but even when it works I don't like the "soft" look of the face. It looks a little weird next to some of the older figures too ... hoping this all improves.

at this rate we could begin a "Botched FX thread" for craps n giggles...
also ordering WWE mattel online just became a form of gambling... (and very addicting)

I saw a basic GM Kurt Angle where the paint was missed completely. His eye was painted right beside where the eye was molded. It was horrific.

This isnt the occasional botch, my EG Roode and EG Goldberg have the same problems. Its terrible. you do realize how many are made, right? a handful out of thousands is pretty minimal. you just have bad luck with the paint jobs apparently Remember, he has a total of two with the FX printing. So he's the expert.

i got a fandango that has a horrid face print ....i too think the eyes should remain painted ,sometimes the pixelated face print works other times nah it looks like crap . i wish i could buy basics with regular painted head sculpts and the elites have the face print crapola ...so far im not too hyped on this gimmick

i guess it must be more cost effective? i dunno...but i didnt really see what was so bad about the way the figures have been since the line started. there were definitely a handful of "missteps" like the elite Finlay, B30 Miz....
but then look at ones like E15 R-Truth, the newer Rollins head, E16 Punk, etc.
the ratio of good to bad heads is large. and very rarely were they not painted properly. this FX thing seems like its just way more involved thus leading to more problems and even then some of the faces/heads don't even look that good
