Previously the built figure was used to sell the others, strange to have it the other way round Stragegy for BAF has always been figures that wouldn’t sell well on their own. i.e. Cole, JR, Heyman, Long, Fink, etc. Besides Cole and Heyman I concede lol

Mean Gene was slotted for a BAF then released on his own and was probably the best seller of the series he was in. Heyman’s basic sold really well.

Was going to say, Heyman sold really well on his own over here, obviously cannot speak for Mean Gene of course

Maybe they can release him in a way like they did with Mean Gene. A singles elite release with Switchable arms, jacket, and head to get both LOD and AOP Paul Ellering. I like that idea a lot actually It would definitely be awesome to release it that way so both classic and modern day collectors can have the version of Paul Ellering they want in their collection.

Hopefully they pulled him so they can include a Rocco puppet figure

Hopefully not, but could have been cancelled. AOP are with Drake Maverick now and Ellering is no longer with the WWE. Mattel may not even have the rights to him anymore due to his release.
I hope the figure still comes out, but I understand if it doesn't.

I could honestly see him being inserted into the NXT line (elites), and he being a build a figure.

What are the chances they put Ellering in a HOC or Flashback wave?
