So the only difference between this line and the current elite line is custom molds, right? This line would have really popped if elites didn't have interchangeable heads and hands (which I personally believe wasn't necessarily needed). Figures look good though. I will always be cautious over the success of a line of $25+ figures. Entrance Greats, Defining Moments, Epic Moments, Entrance Greats (again)...all aren't/weren't massive successes. The Elite multipacks (HOF 2 packs, TNF 3 packs, HOF 4 packs) haven't done well either. For me the issue has been that premium lines never felt different from main line Elites, aside from price. It always felt like a regular Elite in a more expensive box. There were some exceptions - the early DM's and the first Flair and Sting DM's. But Hogan, Razor, Jericho, Angle, Goldberg, etc? You paid an upcharge for a high demand character and some packaging. I'm not entirely excited about the torsos, and like you I can take or leave interchangeable hands. But at $30 this feels like a good value to me for the extra $10. And that's a first for Mattel's premium lines. Time will tell if retailers and customers jump on board enough to make this a success. But I'm willing to give it a shot.

Line has potential, but my top 5: Razor, Doink, Goldust, Vader and Foley.

Double jointed knees and elbows! A dream come true, after all of this time. Only to be ruined by the ugly change in ab articulation.
Definitely do not like that ab articulation on the Warrior. Hopefully things get tightened up by the time it's released. Plus the joint where the upper body meets the stomach, man what a difference in size between the 2 parts. That does not look good.
I would dig all of the rest of the "Ultimate" figure, if it just had the old ab articulation.
I dig the extra heads & hands though. Pretty cool. We're getting a little closer to being on par with a Marvel Legends figure, but somehow it needs to cost $10 more.
Ronda Rousey looks great though. Can't wait for that one. Super eager to see what else comes down the line.

...and sorry - but what the heck is going on here...? Is this Horse Rider Undertaker...? Come on, you know you want to say it. It's the new Milli Vanili Taker.

Is that a new taker head or a re-use of the old e23/Summerslam basic/TNF basic one? Reuse if the elite 23 😑 They keep retooling the crap out of that head too... could we get a new scan? Hate the torso on warrior... it reminds me of jakks ring giants. I really like the figure though, it looks fantastic. I’d prefer the old torsos over this one. Hopefully it’ll look better once it’s done.

man the multiple heads with Rhonda would have been more impressive if they didnt just show it with Nia Jax in the Elite line.

I don’t know why Bill thinks this is a good sculpt for across the board Takers...

im kind of sick of Ultimate Warrior figures tbh. look, im a fan of the guy. he was a huge part of my childhood. he also had some amazing attires. i get it. but i feel like mattel just goes to him for everything, like he's already had SO MANY really cool figures, i just dont have a need to buy another one. and i dont understand why retailers are gonna want this when the DM line failed miserably at this price point, entrance greats are doing the same, and its just another expensive ultimate warrior figure AAAAAAAAAAAAA-MEN BROTHER!

I don’t see why we can’t get a new scan. They haven’t bothered to update current day undertaker either, it’s all reused scans. My only guess is that taker isn’t around often to scan? But then again Austin hasn’t gotten a new scan in years either..

Probably mentioned a few times now but there is no way that Undertaker is the same one we saw at SDCC panel. It just looks wrong in so many ways.

I love them both, I will be getting both of them if I can. Does anyone know if they are going on general sell or they going to be store exclusive?

That's a whole different question. But at the very least they'll be available through online retailers like RSC and Amazon. But no official word on what stores will be carrying these as far as I know.

Retailers balked when Mattel wanted to increase the price of regular elites, presumably because they felt they wouldn't sell as well at a higher price point?! The two key things with the Ultimate line is that each wave will only contain 2 figures and there will only be a few waves released per year. If retailers don't over order them and Mattel makes wise lineup choices then I think this line has a chance at succeeding.

So sorry all you Bo Dallas fans out there.
