I'm so glad that I pulled the trigger in getting a ticket for this show. This weekend is actually going to be the first WWE live events that I attend. The last three matches were  ing fire. Velveteen Dream vs Tommaso Ciampa might have been my personal favorite match of the night. The main roster is going to have a hard time topping War Games. |

Black vs Gargano can easily be match of the year, my god that was incredible.
That ending was a work of Art.
About to rewatch that match again.

NXT absolutely smashed it again. By far the best group and I can't see anyway or survivor series to complete with it.
Hats off again to triple h and his crew and THANK YOU for another unbelievable show

Black/Gargano was one of the best matches of the year for sure! Dream/Ciampa had a bit of an overbooked finished and it dragged a bit, but still VERY good and probably more entertaining than half of SS tonight. War Games was great too, it was just a little bit too long for my taste, there were some brilliant storytelling moments, but all in all it could have ended a couple minutes earlier.

OMG NXT Takovers NEVER disappoints! Some of the best matches I've seen in years! It's a shame these guys aren't making the same salary as the main roster I'd assume. Velveteen Dream is the freakin future! He's Dusty, Flair, Savage, Rude, Hogan and Goldust in one awesome package!r The deal with Velveteen is Trips needs to protect him hardcore. Dream is a student of the business and triple has to love that. I remember everyone on the NXT show thingy with the tall yeti dude and lazy swamp guy, saying how annoying he was and it didn’t matter if he knew what happened in a match in 1987. Triple has to love that he knows his stuff. But as I said earlier if he gets main rostered he needs triple h to protect him with a passion and not get ruined. He has two things against him that Vince and Dunn will sink him immediately. First he is black and you just have to look at wwe history and Vince and see that isn’t going to work in his favor as long as Vince is in charge. Second his gimmick is one Vince will comedy act within weeks. |

I kinda expect Dream to show up on Smackdown and capture the US title come Tuesday.
Great show once again. I'm not expecting as much from survivor series tonight.

I saw the show on replay as i was working (should have asked for the day off). This Takeover is probably my favorite Takeover I've ever seen. I haven't said that since Takeover: R Evolution. First, its sad that Matt Riddle and Ohno couldn't get a longer match, but this was a good way to build Riddle up. I honestly wasnt too impressed with Riddle from the few EVOLVE matches I've seen, but I'm becoming a fan of his. I hope they get a longer match down the line. The Women's match was good. I wish it went a few minutes longer. Shayna retaining was fine. Aleister vs Gargano, my god that was a phenomenal match. What a story they told. Gargano did a great job in his heel role. Aleister Black winning made sense. I could see a 4 way for the NXT Title at the next Takeover. Speaking of the NXT Title match, another holy s*** what a phenomenal match. Had me at the edge of my seat at certain points of the match. These four for me have been the MVPs of NXT this year. Im almost sad Velveteen Dream didn't win, but Ciampas reign shouldn't end just yet. WarGames was great as expected. That match was almost an hour, yet it never felt like it went too long. Overall, incredible Takeover. Id show the Aleister/Gargano, and the NXT Title match to my non wrestling friends.
