So I have a file on my computer of many WCW TV shows. From Saturday Night, World Wide, Power Hour, Main Event, and it always amazes me how WCW could have so many shows during the late 80s and early 90s and somehow be on time with story lines and such.
For example, I was watching a Power Hour which would air Friday night's on TBS, and Bobby Eaton got attacked by Terry Taylor and Buddy Landell, and then after that Jim Ross says, "tune in tomorrow on WCW Saturday night to see who Bobby's partner will be to face Taylor and Landell" and of course that TV taping happened at a totally different venue than the Power Hour one. And they would still be on top of things in regard of what happened on World Wide and Main Event.
I know a lot of people say the WWE has too much TV shows now, but WCW was just as back in this era, and this was an era where stuff was taped and had to be edited and everyone needed to know what was happening when.
So I give props to WCW for being able to do that successfully at least. And re-watching these old shows reminds me of how much fun it was as a kid and in my early teen years to watch all these WCW shows that aired. Just a fun time really!
So did anyone have a certain favourite WCW/NWA TV show to watch??

My favorite would have to be Saturday Night since they aired a lot of gems on it especially during late 80s/early 90s.
I'm a sucker for squash TV so shows like Power Hour and World Wide were fun as well.

Early 90s WCW always gets a bad rap, but I enjoyed it a lot. My favorites were WCW Saturday Night @6:05 and WCW Main Event and Worldwide which aired weekend mornings. WCWs ratings at the time were equal to that of the WWFs, if not better.

Their Saturday Night show was a favorite of mine. We didn’t have cable yet so my father and I would go to my Grandfather’s (Mom’s dad) every Saturday and my father would help him in his machine shop or in the yard until it aired. And at some point during the day my mom and sisters would come over to help make dinner while we (My father, grandfather and I) would watch it. We did that every week for years until my Grandparents moved to a retirement village down the shore.
