I have to ask, why the hell aren't the hand pegs not molded in white? Can anyone even think of a good reason as to why they're flesh tone? This how toys are made: The pegs are probably on the same sprue/mold as the other flesh tone body parts. At the very least they have their own mold, but that would require a plastic color change at some point. The wrist pegs are almost never in the appropriate color because of this.

But I've had plenty of Mattel figures with taped hands that had their peg cast in white rather than flesh tone.

I'm not saying it's always going to be like that, but unless they're doing a bunch of other parts in that color, it ends up being cheaper to just paint over whatever is easier to mold them in, which is how you get weird things like entirely painted gloves or sleeves.

They arent though. If you google Mattel factory mold, you'll see their part molds are different, the pieces arent attached to the branches like model kits, the pieces are all separate

Even the Marvel Legends Wolverine I have next to me has them. For funsies though I googled that, and those aren't factory molds, but for at home use.
