It's more entertaining than any other pro wrestling movie not named "The Wrestler" I find this little number more entertaining than Ready to Rumble.
(Also I haven't seen the Wrestler. )

Just got done watching it. Wow,is it ever a trip back in time! I also completely forgot about Cena being an extra. And that chick who went on to be in all those Ziploc ads is super cute.

(Also I haven't seen the Wrestler. ) I guess they both have their niche. One knows it's a joke of a movie which makes it funny and the other tries to be serious even though it's a joke of a movie as well which might make it even funnier.

If I could just find a ten hour clip of Zeus' scream as he strangled Rip's little brother. Or better yet,a mashup of that Zeus and Brock Lesnar screams.

It had some funny moments for sure. I enjoyed it but it was highly inaccurate & stupid mostly. But worth some laughs.

Don’t bother watching it. As a kid/young teen liked it. When I saw it as an adult, I realized how stupid it actually was/is.

It's a fun 'turn your brain off' type movie. If you're into Adam Sandler comedies like The Waterboy and Mr. Deeds you would def. like it. And if you don't take to heart the whole portrayl of pro-wrestling fans as yokels /the village idiots and let it roll off you're back and have fun with it.

Ready to Rumble is my favorite wrestling movie ever. I agree with They Live sentinments, but as far as a "wrestling film" goes, I'll take Ready to Rumble all day.
The Wrestler is depressing as sh*t. I know it's a great film with incredible acting but it's the dark corners of the wrestling world that just aren't fun to watch. I'll take both Ready to Rumble and No Holds Barred over it any day of the week. Once you've seen the Wrestler one time, you never have to watch it again. Body Slam is pretty horrendous but Piper is hilarious and Tanya Roberts is a good time.
Anyway, should you watch Ready to Rumble... What Would King Do?

I've never seen it but I have a sneaking suspicion that it's not that good. In my opinion the best movies about wrestling were made in the 70's and 80's, unless you want to count Night and the City in 1950. Movies like All the Marbles with Peter Falk, The One and Only with Henry Winkler, and Grunt! The Wrestling Movie are some of the better wrestling movies. Once wrestling hit it big in the late 90's you had movie like Slammed which you would only like if you are a fan of Zachery Ty Bryan or tons of scenes with naked women. Don't get me wrong, I like ZTB as much as the next fella but he can't carry a movie.

I loved “the wrestler”. Depressing yes, but real
I love the realness of wrestling and people don’t understand because they say it’s fake. It’s much more real than stupid superhero’s
