I can't figure out who's at fault, Mattel or Walgreens. Hasbro Marvel Legends, Star Wars, and Transformers always seem to arrive somewhat on schedule. They both share the blame. Walgreens system is supposed to auto order the figures when they get low or run out of stock, but it wasn't/doesn't work with these figures. On top of that, the distribution centers didn't order them. So the stores that didn't have any in stock, had no way to get them. Managers would order them, but simply wouldn't get them. You would think that would trigger the distribution center to order the product, but it didn't. When Maryse started showing up I emailed Walgreens customer service and they put me in contact with a an area supervisor and we figured all this out and he had the distribution center order some product. Luckily it was Maryse because he had no way to know which figure it was going to be. It's also Mattel's fault because they need to have an account manager that is on top of this stuff. When you are not seeing any sales movement, but you know the product is available, maybe you start looking into why? There's plenty of blame to go around. But I would love to know what Mattel's supply chain looks like. If there isn't an account manager working with these stores, it's baffling. If there is, they should have been fired years ago. The WWE line has the same issue with every single major retailer, and has for a number of years, likely costing them millions in profits. That they haven't recognized and addressed this problem is absolutely amazing, but I suppose this is why they're in the financial position they're in. I will say that the line as a whole seems like a bad fit for Walgreens. Women's Elites always seem like a tough sell, and Walgreens offers very limited shelf space for toys. On the other hand, Hasbro mixed in high demand and recognizable figures at Walgreens with Silver Surfer, Thing, etc.

They should clear out the HHH and HBKs while they're at it. And that single solitary basic Mizdow that's been sitting there for 3 or 4 years.

I think it's interesting that Marvel/Hasbro has been mentioned and I think it should be discussed. Hasbro can sit there and say "if you want this character you have to go to Walgreens." Where as Mattel is going to keep releasing and had released plenty of Sasha. Now we know Mattel hates releasing Flashback of women but this was probably the best non main line release way of getting them out. The first one could have been Sherri. And then Mattel could have said "if you want Sherri go to Walgreens". Because everyone knows Sherri ain't getting a second release. Had that sold well they could have said "Here's Luna" because again we are going to be lucky if we even get one of her.
The casual customer would say "I've got a Sasha and Becky already." Or perhaps they would say "I don't go to Walgreens for toys" which I think is fair to say. Only hardcore collectors are going to go to Walgreens for WWE product.

So did we ever figure out how much? Or.... Through Dec. 1st they were marked down to $14.99 or 25 percent off the retail price ($19.99).

They dont tell the stores how to distribute and stock them. That's just not how it works. There are account managers and account executives who are responsible for working with major accounts to ensure that the manufacturer's products are ordered, stocked, maximize shelf space, and reach target sales goals. That's true of any product, whether we're talking about toys or potato chips. No, they do not determine how the retailer lays out their store or the supply chain. But if you don't think manufacturers are actively trying to influence how major retailers sell their product to maximize profits, then I don't know what to tell you.

My area is swamped with Maryse and we never saw Becky. If someone needs Maryse PM me as I could use another Becky.

No clearance price at the closest walgreens, and that promo didn't do any good to move any as the store still has six.

They’re both to blame.
Both for having too much faith in an exclusive women’s line. Also, I think Walgreens May of over valued the wwe brand.

Hey Guys, I wanted to ask a question so at my local Walgreens store I noticed that the Women’s Exclusive was on clearance is this just to get the Becky’s and Sasha’s out of the store or is the line just dead? I have yet to see a Becky here, all we have is Sasha and Maryse everywhere....

For what it's worth, I think a lot of people are taking a break from the product.... I never thought I would take another break, but it's purely garbage at the moment. Only think I like watching are DB and Miz promos and I can see those on YouTube.

They should have set this line up differently. It should have had Series 1 be Sasha and Becky. 2 of each figure per case. Then have Series 2 be Maryse and someone like Alexa Bliss. Then we’d be on Series 3 with Paige and either Nattie or Naomi.
You can’t expect a store like Walgreens (nobody’s first stop when looking for wrestling figures) to sell out of a series with ONE character that seems to be 6 per case. And a niche product in general, seeing as it’s an all women’s line.
I would personally love to see this series grow and continue but at this point, Mattel, just end it and put the others that were supposed to come out in other lines (normal Elite line, Fan Central, etc.)
