I wonder who's going to run LJN?

Same thing I've said elsewhere:
1) I'm going to be pissed they didn't do this back when I watched & collected, and would have bought everything 2) If they make '80s/'90s figures as if to "continue the original line", I'm in for sure. I'll have my Smash, Brother Love, etc. yet! Mwahahhahaha

Besides the few prominent njpw stars, I can’t imagine who else they’d pursue the rights to produce.

Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God......
How are places like Pro Wrestling Tees allowed to do micro brawlers of LOD, Andre the Giant & Vader? There have to be some loopholes somewhere for some guys, or was WWE on board with those being produced?

I wonder if the trademark was defunct and Ryan Barkin picked it up and figured out how to get these made. I was hoping for something more modern of all of these guys but I would certainly buy all of them in this style.
Shot in the dark:
Series 1 Omega Villain Hangman Joey Ryan Jericho Daniels Ibushi Joey Janela
Tag Teams 1 Cody and Brandi Young Bucks SCU Kaz and Sky

The Bucks are generally awesome, but this is extra fresh, especially for the oldschoolers that long for the LJN line (I am too young to have had them as a kid), and bendies no less.

This COULD be very cool, as both a fan of the Bucks and old-school figures. But I think they really have to go to all the way with the accuracy/LJN-ness of it all ... because after initial excitement I've found both Jakks' LJN tributes and Mattel's Hasbro tributes to be underwhelming because they're just not the same as before.

I rarely login to post, mainly I lurk and read. This though.. bravo Young Bucks.
Can't wait to see what's in store. Literally, IN stores.

Normally I’m skeptical when it comes to stuff like this.
However NOT WITH THIS.
I’m pumped as I could possibly be about this news. I’m all in and ready to buy every and anything they do with these.

There have to be some loopholes somewhere for some guys, or was WWE on board with those being produced? Those guys still own their rights to their name/merchandise/likeness. Its one reason why WWE for the past few years have been changing Indie stars names after they get into WWE/NXT because it gives them partial branding rights for later on. Neville is a WWE brand but PAC is his own "brand"

I'm definitely interested, but after Cody Rhodes, Bucks, Jericho, Omega and the other select independent talent, who does WWE not own the rights over at this point?
I'm not poo-pooing this, trust me. I just want this line to have permission to go to the moon with all legends past and present. Would be awesome!

Could they do guys that WWE/Mattel can't do at this time? Like Barbarian? Bundy? Talent with trademarks used outside of WWF?

I believe it is not a question wether Mattel is allowed to do them but more like WWE wamts them to do them. Nevertheless there are of course legends like RW Animal who own their names (Legion of Doom however is owned by WWE I believe). At the moment I honestly do not expect any more than a few BCE figures in vintage style.

Dont short stock these new figures and Harley Race the market 2. Dont make video games (damnit)

I am skeptical. These guys are marketing geniuses, but they are also all star social media manipulators. Is this an honest tease, or a bait and switch to get people talking? We'll know eventually I suppose.
