This is awesome news and all, but I'm over here waiting on someone to revive the AWA Remco line...

These are probably just going to be “collectible” and limited.
They know well enough than to try and make a full line

my son and i got out our bucket full of ljns tonight and did a bunch of matches. Still great figures to just play with without worry of breaking anything. at this point the paint rubs arent a big deal. We are just patiently waiting for the full reveal of this re launch!

This is awesome news and all, but I'm over here waiting on someone to revive the AWA Remco line... Zoloworld owns the Remco molds. Years ago they teased a generic wrestling line, but so far they only released a darker skintone of Nord the Barbarian and dubbed him Hercules - Son of Zeus for their Realms of the Underworld line...

Maybe AEW will get a line? They just got shirts & hoodies, thinking about figures is a bit early...

I think it's safe speculation to say that these are going to be 'adult collector' type items in the vein of the modern-day Mego lines, Kenner assortments, etc. I don't think anybody, however excited they may be for these, genuinely believes that there's an affordable and conversely profitable market for these things to once again see common distribution. Specialty shops, at best. I'd be surprised if they weren't something available exclusively through online retailers.

Yeah, the Zoloworld stuff is amazing. It is also cautionary. If you see Nord The Barbarian, Boris Zuchov, or Sheik Adnan figures that look too new to be true, they may be! LOL On topic, I am more optimistic than before now that AEW is falling into place. With Cody at the forefront these are smart guys calling the shots and they will understand their fanbase and exactly what they will and will not support. There's a balance to be struck with any specialty merchandise, making it feel "exclusive" or limited while not making it seem overly so as to be unobtainable. Again, they know what they're doing. I mean, look at all the free publicity and mileage they got from one tweet showing the corner of a box.

Whoops ok apparently Zoloworld also released Boris Zhukov in bone-white skintone dubbed Preytus - Wraith of Archeron, and the Sheik in a light skintone as Ulysseus in the Realms of the Underworld line.

I know we're getting close to thread drift with this, but there is a NYCC edition of that "Hercules" figure that is just basically Nord complete with facepaint, chain, and fur accessories identical to the AWA figure but with the fur textured trunks and wrist bracers of the Lost World Of Warlord style figures. And the Ulysseus head can be put on a Larry Z Remco body and pass as a loose, incomplete AWA Adnan (but not correct. If you see one with a body that looks like Larry or Martel, it's a custom. Don't be fooled). It's why I'm always careful looking at auctions for those figures. I imagine someone has overpaid for a reproduction/custom that way. They haven't done a flesh colored figure using the Boris head as far as I can recall.

Pretty disappointing they released "Ceremonial" Hercules that way; outside of a lighter skintone, different arms, crotch and legs that's Nord... Anyway we're indeed drifting off. About time we get to see the Young Bucks!

I know it’s a long shot, but if AEW produced ljn figures and could somehow make figures of guys who aren’t under wwe contracts it’d be amazing. I’m looking at you Smash and Barbarian!

I'm actually pretty excited for these. Hope we get Cody, Brandi, Hangman, Marty and Kenny. LJN's were a bit before my time but I like how they look on display.

Does anyone know where to pre-order or I guess order them? I don't think anything has been confirmed but my guess is its either going to be through Chalkline or Pro Wrestling Tees. I believe it was said it was Chalkline who revived the LJN license.
