I know that pretty much anybody can get into the WWE Hall of Fame, but do you think Tatanka deserves a spot?
He's one of my childhood favorites and I think he had a pretty damn good career. It doesn't hurt that he is one of the nicest guys in the business. He speaks highly of almost everyone and has remained on good terms with WWE.
Not a headliner, but I think he earned his place.

I know this is a tiresome statement, but if Koko B Ware can get in, almost anyone is a possibility. If Tatanka is on good terms with wwe and they want to put him in, they will. Unless Tatanka isn't interested or wants too much money. If that hall of fame was for the elite and had criteria then I'd say no. Koko wouldn't be in if that was the case. I guess the criteria is if you were there for at least a few years, you were somewhat entertaining, and are on good terms with the company, you're in.

I feel guilty as apparently I made a similar thread earlier in the year.
Apologies.

They really should have pulled the trigger and gave Tatanka the IC title at WrestleMania 9. I think he would have had a good run with it and then have him drop it to Borga. Although I was never really a fan of his, he should go in. He was USWA champion, had good angles, was undefeated for a while.

By the criteria I listed above, don't be surprised to see Virgil or Doink in one day much less Tatanka.

Based on WWE's criteria, sure he is a Hall of Famer.
He had a good run and was entertaining for a bit.
I've said before you got to realize WWEs HOF is more similar to Hollywood's walk of Fame vs any sports Hall which makes sense since both are scripted entertainment.

It's not about the elite of the elite. You notice most hall of fame classes resemble a wrestling card? You got the one main event guy headlining and a bunch of midcarders underneath.

He had a good four year run but I think he could have done even better if creative was able to give him good storylines, opponents and better outcomes of the matches. After WrestleMania IX it seems like his career was really halted when he had enough talent to make better things if he were given better opportunities. Considering WWF really didn't seem to know where they were going with Lex Luger, Bret Hart, Undertaker and losing Hulk Hogan, Tatanka should have found himself higher up in the cards. I can see him getting an induction in the next few years.

I thought he was a horrible gimmick and a crappy wrestler. He's a blip on the radar to me

Great worker, legitimately nice guy, great gimmick, over as hell and very memorable. Far more deserving than a lot of Hall of Famers.

Cornette is from that abandoned era of excellent wrestling managers who were able to singlehandedly get their "client" over. He was an instant heat magnet and deserves a Hall of Fame induction yesterday. Forget space camp, I wish my parents sent me to Camp Cornette during the summer as a kid.

I guess the next time wrestlemania is in the south, Cornette and his team get inducted.
Not sure when Tatanka gets in, but let me ask you this evildoink- if he gets inducted in Brooklyn next year are you going? You live in the ny area right? I'm only going if by some chance JC and the Midnights are inducted. Very small chance I know.
