Shouldn't this be in WWE board? He lived in Manchester in a council flat and was wheel chair bound. He was apparently a bully in real life. I did think he was a good technical wrestler and was way ahead of his time in terms of ring style. Anyway RIP Dynamite Kid. WWE should definitley give him more credit.

His influence can still be seen today which is the highest praise I can think of considering Dynamite has been out of the mainstream spotlight for over 30 years.
The guy was a bully and will not be receiving any posthumous humanitarian awards, but he innovated a style that is still imitated by countless wrestlers from the WWE to ROH to the Indys.
I can only imagine if he was even a decent person, the WWE would already be erecting statues in his honor.

We all know about his backstage reputation but there's no denying the mark he left on wrestling. One hell of a talent. Do yourself a favor and watch his stuff with Tiger Mask.
RIP Dynamite Kid.

Very sad news. He was always one of my favorites. I kept seeing his pic in my google search and didn’t think anything of it thinking it was just a past google search until I just read the title to one of them.

There was a documentary on Dynamite Kid that came out years ago that Davey Richards is the narrator for. It was really good when I watched it years ago, I may have to watch it tonight to remember Dyno!
R.I.P. Tommy, you were an awesome in ring talent!

Sad to hear. He was in a bad state for a while there, being cared for full time after his latest stroke. R.I.P
Dynamite, Rude, Davey, Owen, Jim all some of my faves...its shocking how many have passed.
