Out of the 18 Walmarts in my area, only two got the shipper. Both were in the back. I asked different people on the day and night shifts of both stores about it. All said the same thing, that the shipper is buried in trailers of massive toy inventory, and that they don't have the manpower nor the space to get to it. =( Meanwhile, out of the poop-ton of Walmarts in Dallas/Fort Worth, seven got the shipper. They've been sitting on them for days, with no quantity movement, signaling they're all in the back. Only one store saw ONE Fan Central Elite move. That had to have been an employee plucking a Carmella for himself, I'd bet. Reading your post really makes me realize how antiquated brick/mortar retail is, especially for collectors items like this. There are so many issues with retail - e.g. stock not being sent to all stores, stock not making it to the sales floor from the back, employee scalping, consumer scalping, people swapping figures or stealing parts, the gamble of the hunt and the gas/time required, limited shelf space, wrong inventory numbers, unhelpful customer service, etc. The fact that online availability is extremely limited wouldn't be such an issue if the stores were properly stocked. I hope this all goes the way of the music/movie industry over the next 10 years, which have adjusted to online sales. I do understand retail is good for impulse purchases, especially when there are kids involved. So maybe a happy medium is to keep the basics in-store, and move elites online primarily. There must be some significant kickers from Walmart/Target that keep Mattel from ditching them. |

My display was out and everyone was there. Only a few figs were gone...Idk who though seems like random assortments for each store. There were only 2 D Brys though...so I instantly grabbed D Bry since I've wanted this figure of him since 2010.  |

Visited the closest Walmart that shows FC figs in stock. The associate I spoke with played a fool and gave a bunch of excuses as to why he wouldn't take the time to help a customer. He even tried Dante's "I'm not even supposed to be here today" line. Wouldn't even direct to someone who would be willing to help. Got tired of being soaked from driving there in a monsoon so I left empty handed. How can I check the inventory of my area? |

Find the sku #. Copy and paste on brickseek. Enter your zip code. Hit search. Survivor Series come up Bobby Roode, fan central show up as Mark Henry. |

Found a loaded display last night in Bay Area, CA. Picked up all the Fan Central and Survivor Series elites and the Flair basic.
So with us getting Survivor Series, Mania and SummerSlam elites, does anyone else feel we may get a surprise set of Royal Rumble elites next month?

Middletown NY and Fishkill both showed the Fan Central in stock this morning on Brickseek so I drove up to Middletown and picked these up...  They still had plenty of all Fan Central Elites, Basics and BP when I left. They didn’t have any Survivor Series.   |
