Just catching a report saying Cass was taken to hospital during Tommy Dreamer's House of Hardcore event in Philly, during the intermission Cass had a seizure in the lobby of the arena in front of fans, etc, Dreamer and Bubba Dudley were there Cass was responding but yeah got assisted to hospital.
Dreamer went to the ring after Cass had been taken to inform the fans in attendance, and made a point of saying the seizure wasn't "Drug related"
Edit: Just reading now that Cass was apparently able to walk out of the arena, so thats good news. Enzo also tweeted out "to me heater" with some praying hands after the news broke. maybe someone more up to date with the kids lingo, what does heater mean?

It's scary how sudden and unexpected these things can happen. As much as i don't really like his character, i hope he pulls through from this.
2018 just hasn't been his year, hopefully 2019 can see a change.

You never wanna see someone go through what he's gone through. I really think WWE should lend out a helping hand and re-hire him. Some people deserve a second opportunity- he's one of them. I still think Cass has a lot of potential in professional wrestling. Selfishly, I hope WWE re-hires him and provides some sort of rehab/therapy for him.

I just hope he takes the WWE offered rehab if he needs it.

He’s right though WWE shouldn’t hire Cass back just he had a seizure. Cass himself said WWE had every right to fire him for how he acted backstage and that he wants to prove himself changed to get hired back.

What you wrote is applied to life in general. If an employer fires you for not being professional, they shouldn't hire you back based on sympathy. While I feel bad for Big Cass but he should let this ordeal teach him a lesson. Learn to be more professional, develop positive relationships with your peers, and have the ability to take advice and get better. Last I heard, Carmella wants nothing to do with him based on alleged incidences. I could say more but I wish Big Cass well.

I wouldn't say hire him back, he was becoming a liability to the company and even said he would've fired himself. His attitude would have to change first before he'd be considered being hired back, which i have no doubt he'll try to change. But now, unfortunately with this seizure, the chances of him coming back at the moment wouldn't be strong, WWE wouldn't want to risk this happening during a match or entrance. Now, what i think WWE should do is this. While not hiring him back, i think they should put a hand in his recovery process and help fund any treatment or therapy he needs, similar to what they do with former stars recovering from Drug or Alcohol problems. I do think WWE would consider doing that, after all Cass owned up to his mistakes and is trying to better himself so he can hopefully come back one day, unlike that blithering idiot Enzo, who tarnishes his reputation trying to bash and crash his former workplace.

I agree, dude. I didn’t mean hire him back as a talent (yet). I think he could’ve received therapy supported by the company and maybe worked as a match composer in NXT for a while until he’s ready for in-ring competition . He owned up to his mistakes- so, I think WWE should give him a second opportunity. After all, they’ve given guys like Hogan chances- so brining Cass back in a non-wrestling role wouldn’t hurt in my opinion.

Man thoughts in prayers go out to him. I know he doesn’t have the best reputation, but like others have said he deserves a second chance. Wonder what caused it though? Hoping for a speedy recovery.

I haven’t been fully following the story. Was the seizure drug related? I thought I read that it wasn’t but based on the comments I’m reading here, I’m thinking maybe I misread.
As someone who has had seizures I do sympathize, especially if this wasn’t drug related. You do have to live a more careful lifestyle. However, one great line my doctor had was “epilepsy isn’t a death sentence.” As long as I take my medication, eat right, get enough sleep, and manage my weight, I can live a pretty normal life. I’m very active in the gym, I can have a drink every now and then, I can party here and there. The key to managing seizures (I’m talking from 15 years of experience) seems to be managing your stress levels and keeping your mind sharp. If you are epileptic, your body needs strength to fight off possible seizures.
If the seizure is drug or alcohol related, then you’re just doing it to yourself. However, WWE has helped many in the past seek help and I’m sure he’d have the same resources available if he sought help.
