Here's the latest rumors.
According to Joes Peisich and Barnburner‘s No Holds Barred podcast (via Ringside news), AJ Styles is currently penciled in for a WrestleMania match with Randy Orton.
According to Giancarlo Aulino and Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast (via Ringside news), it appears that Rey Mysterio’s WrestleMania plans will revolve around the WWE US Title…
“I spoke to a few sources as well and right now Rey Mysterio is being penciled in for a United States title match but they’re still working on who is going to go into WrestleMania with the title. Three names being discussed: Shinsuke Nakamura holding it until then to face Rey Mysterio. Samoa Joe is another one or Andrade Cien Almas — can you imagine Rey Mysterio vs Andrade Cien Almas, two Mexicans for the United States Title? I’m hearing too that two of the three names of whoever doesn’t walk into WrestleMania with the United States Title, they will be in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. So there’s going to be plenty of star power in that match.”
Triple H suffered a torn pec at WWE Crown Jewel, but according to Joe Peisich on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast (via Ringside news), the plan is for him still compete at WrestleMania 35…
“I have talked to a couple sources of course, this could change, but penciled in everybody wants to know what’s going on with Triple H. Is Triple H going to face Batista. As everyone knows, he suffered a torn pec. Triple H is the Cerebral Assassin, but he’s also Superman. There is still penciled in Triple H vs Batista if Triple H can come back.”

RSN isn't a reliable source No, but the question here is whether the sources they’ve cited are reliable or not. They also said that Shawn Michaels vs. Daniel Bryan is a possibility. |

A citation naming Ringside News, in any fashion, should incite a Pavlovian response of discrediting anything being reported out of that "journalistic" wasteland.

If this turns out to be true I wonder where this leaves guys like Cena & Taker.I could see one of them feuding with a debuting Lars Sullivan but after that I don't know.With 9 matches already probably only leave a few spots left on the main card which still need another Women's Title match and probably one tag team title match up.

That seems like a realistic card I just hope that triple h is healthy because that would take away from the match even more. I still always hope for a Sting appearance even though he’s limited and I’m sure this will be the Wrestlemania with a hogan appearance. |

I'd have been all for an AJ Styles vs Randy Orton Match at Wrestlemania, had they absolutely not just thrown it away for free on a Smackdown with zero build. We've seen the Match now, and while it does feel like they have since kept the two apart, I think there could be better options (The obvious being AJ Styles vs Shawn Michaels).

Styles is way above having anything to do with Orton at Mania. AJ deserves something better than a dude who gives minimal effort and has never had a good performance at Mania.

I've always wanted a proper feud with AJ/Orton, it sucks we got it on a random SD before WM in 2017. If the match does happen then AJ has to win 100%.

I think the rumored card looks decent but personally I would like a card like this,
1)Ronda Rousey Vs. Becky Lynch-RAW's Women Title
2)Brock Lesnar Vs. Drew McIntrye-Universal Title
3)Daniel Bryan Vs. Seth Rollins-WWE Title
4)Batista Vs. Randy Orton w/Special Guest Referee:Triple H
5)AJ Styles Vs. John Cena
6)Braun Strowman Vs. Lars Sullivan
7)Andrade "Cien" Almas Vs. Rey Mysterio-US Title
8)Andre the Giant Battle Royal(Winner Gets World Title Shot at next PPV)
I know a card like this leaves star power off like Taker,HBK,McMahon and a ton of women's wrestlers but don't feel that Wrestlemania needs a billion matches and that each and every match on the card should feel special and actually mean something.Also at somepoint the WWE need to move on from the old timers and part timers and even with the card I layed out you still have start power for the older fans in Cena,Brock,Batista,Orton,Mysterio,Triple H...ect

I researched the rumors this podcast have reported in the past, based on when Don Tony ripped a few websites that reported news based on what some podcasts have said. I do not believe this one bit. They're the same ones who reported a 3 way at Summerslam with Reigns, Braun and Lashley, with Hogan raising Lashleys hand, they reported Jericho debuting at Bound for Glory. Yeah, do not believe this for a minute.
