Is it weird that my initial reaction was worry over the prospect that White Wolf had lost the rights, followed by relief once I searched the trademark database to find that their trademark is still live?
It feels weird.
Good on him, though. That's gotta be a weird step above even the routine scenario of WWE holding the rights to the only name you're known publicly by.

I don't understand why we keep seeing non-Mattel related threads in the Mattel WWE forum of this board... Please...this has far more to do with Mattel, and is far more useful than those sad sack emo threads, where dudes were worried about what people thought of them collecting wrestling figures into adulthood. Those were the worst. Nope. Scratch that. Those guys who announced they were “retiring” from figure collecting were worse. Well, let’s call it a tie. Anyhow...WWE, we want Gangrel. Get at it! |

Just like as soon as someone is "rumored" to be signing with WWE, no need for those threads until there is something officially announced. |

I have nothing against the character or the guy per se but I dont get it. he had 2 extremely nondescript years on a flooded roster. He was relevant for two months then the guys that were his henchmen outshined him into oblivion. Yawn.

That definitely increases his chances. He's one of the more marketable mid-card guys they haven't gotten around to, too. You could even do a 2-in-1 by providing a Christian head as his accessory, haha.

Still to be in the Mattel WWE line the WWE would need to approve it. This. Nothing wrong with speculating about the possibilities of a figure, but there's really not much else to go on. Bill would probably agree with PJ's assessment. I'll move this to the Suggestion Box so that if anyone wants to elaborate further on what they would want out of a Gangrel figure, they are free to do so. |

This is awesome! If signed to a merch deal I’d pick up a Gangrel figure I remember his BCA was one of my most wanted. I would love an epic moments pack of the brood as well.
