Owens and Zayn (if they're healthy in time) Sting Aleister Black Idk how it would happen (it would have to be quick artwork) but I think it'd be cool if Finn Balor comes out number 1 or 2 and gets eliminated early, and then comes back as Demon Balor around number 29 or 30 (ala the 3 faces of foley in 98) I would be so down with that if Balor pulled a Mick Foley and he did that...comes out as himself and then at #29 or at #30 comes out as The Demon King as Demon Balor...it would definitely be a throwback to Mick Foley for sure and imagine Demon Balor winning the Rumble as The Demon That would be cool, but hasn’t he said it takes hours to put on the paint? If so I don’t see how he could do it.

Ric Flair. He did recently posted that he's allowed to take bumps again. It would be cool to hear the music and see him go down the aisle one more time. Virgil. He needs that money and he can use Olive Garden breadsticks as foreign objects to eliminate people. Duke "The Dumpster" Drose. He can use his prosthetic leg to hit the breadsticks out of Virgil's hands.

I would have liked Heidenreich to come back and rip Cole a new one but man he's in bad shape.

Eddie Guerrero! Imagine how excited the fans would be to see Eddie come out in a low rider. He's not wrong...

The guy is jacked now! Follow him on Facebook. He's very funny and tells great stories. He's looking fantastic.

I'd put him as my top candidate to win it, though, under the Zach Gowen "both feet must go over the top rope and touch the arena floor" rule. Just never bring the fake foot into the ring. regardless of how many times the other foot goes over, he couldn't be beat, unless someone found the fake foot, brought it to the ring, and threw it over

The only name I think I want to see coming up from NXT at this point is EC3. He's not doing anything of real consequence down there right now, and he seems more tailored to the main roster. As far as returns? Owens, Zayn. High expectation, low probability? Cody. Honestly, I don't think EC3 should have ever gone to NXT. He already worked in WWE development before (he even faced CM Punk!) so the "learn the WWE style" argument holds no water. He was as hot as anybody coming out of TNA could be. He could have come out on Raw or SmackDown and been an immediate mid-card heel. As it is, he's spent months and months in NXT doing nothing, losing a lot of his momentum.

I mean, his first few endeavors in NXT were fine, in particular the chemistry with Dream, but now he's the odd man out in a throwaway feud that I suspect is only taking place in order to fill time between the inevitable ascension of the War Raiders beating TUE for the tag-team titles. He's got the charisma, the look, and the skill-set to be a mainstay in any singles title picture from the bottom up, and where he's nowhere near any of them in NXT, I suspect that he'd be better utilized on the main roster (which is a rare stance for me as an ardent fan of NXT).

Only person that would spark a “HOLY $#!+” moment for me would be CM Punk. Anyone from NXT, the injured list, or the same old legends they always use wouldn’t be that big of a deal.

You trying to get this thread locked? For making a joke? That locks threads nowadays? Anyway, on topic: I’d love to see EC3, maybe HBK.

Tomasso Ciampa - Continuing the NXT Champ trend Almas started last year.
Aleister Black - Main Roster Debut + 'Revenge' on Ciampa from the night before at Takeover.
Carlito - Hopefully a full time return.
Kevin Owens and/or Sami Zayn - Countdown to #30 and everyone knows it'll be R-Truth, but he doesn't show up as he thinks he's #30 in the Women's Rumble. Backstage, the GM's are looking for Truth but don't find him in time so they recreate the 2004 Rumble where Austin tells someone down the hallway to enter, then #30 is either Zayn or Owens.

Say what you want but Vince does stuff like this to in his mind prove points. Kill the momentum and when he gets called up he can say see, TNA can’t make stars.
