Everyone is always bitching about QC issues. They don’t have someone inspect every single figure for minuscule things that mostly only anal collectors can spot or care about.
The head is a bit big, but if it’s that huge of a problem..wait for the next version of her to come out.
And don’t blame bill for this. Blame the new guy.

The head looks big in some of the pics I've seen but at least its a really good sculpt. Without seeing it in person, I think it's a pretty good fig.

Does the attempt at her low cut shorts look any better in person? I'm glad we are getting a Mandy figure, but why can't Mattel get the color gold right? The upcoming Charlotte Basic is canary yellow and Mandy is a copper color. Also, it took me awhile to figure out why they gave Mandy a "V" on the front her trunks. Then I realized they are trying to recreate the low cut look. It looks odd to me the pictures, hopefully it will look better in person. However, unless the flesh colors match perfectly, there is little chance of that. I see no need to ever try to make the trunks/underwear go lower. That small crotch area isn't big to begin with. So that piece should always be the default piece that gets painted as the trunk/underwear.

Don’t like it? Don’t buy it. And you’re right it is a $10 toy not a hundred dollar bust. And don’t give me that crap about how hard you work and how you deserve this that and the other thing...also if all of you could stop Barking about this Quality control department you think is meant to serve your unrealistic expectations ...that would be awesome. If Mattel took all of the negativity of this forum and actually listened to all your ridiculous requests and applied them to the figures then the price point would go up and you would be pissed about that. Bill doesn’t even go on here anymore because of how negative and ridiculous some of you are. Also why are we not talking about how weird it is when guys are this obsessed with diva figures? Borders on creepy. LMAOOOOOOOOOOO. I'd like to see this dude order a burger that is crappily made with half a bun, a small patty and moldy cheese and see if he doesn't send it back to the manager with a complaint that he wants his $10 burger to be "quality". And we should talk about how weird it is that you love to play with little plastic figures of men in speedos. I must of struck a nerve. Unlike you money is not an issue for me. I’m sorry you feel so insecure with your hobby best of luck when you get to the real world and adulthood 😂

Borders on creepy. •I find it equally creepy that some peeps fill their rooms with little half naked men, but I guess it's a matter of perspective lol •Even 100 dollar busts have paint issues, since theyre still painted by the same factory workers, so it's more realistic to expect issues than not in that instance. However, there's a difference between workers messing stuff up at the factories and Mattel not paying attention to detail when designing the figures. To list what I see as issues with this fig: Waist band's angle is too steep Black on the legs should be a little lower Gold color is wrong I dont mind the "chop" hand mold, but they have better open hand molds (see Stephanie Elite 50), why the fungus dont they use them? These are things Mattel's team is directly responsible for. Why is it that fans can spot these flaws but Mattel's team cant? When it comes to deco, sometimes it's only a matter of millimeters, but the flaws are still noticeable, especially once pointed out. Maybe the problem is the designers don't have anyone to point things out as they work? And I dont know how to explain wrong shades of metallic paint or not using superior, existing hand molds. The factories cant use shiny metallic paint? Did someone steal Stephanie's hand molds? It's as confusing as it is aggravating. The figures are painted by machines not by hand 🤣😂 If Mattel is bad I’m not sure why some of you buy the figures. The figures are not inspected 1 by 1 Money is no issue for me so I don’t lose my mind every time a $10 toy has an issue. Threads like these point out who the kids are on this forum.

Threads like these point out who the kids are on this forum. •We know the head apps are spray painted/printed by a machine. I don't know about other stuff like laces, tattoos, attires, etc. Last time I looked into it those things (a few years ago, granted) many were still being done by hand with stencils/jigs, some with tampography, etc. Without having a discussion with Mattel's team about it, all we can do is speculate. If you have inside knowledge and sources about how Mattel produces their figs, let us know, always good to learn more.
•As pointed out, mistakes by factory workers and mistakes by Mattel are two different things. Stray marks on an attire and improper parts scaling are two different issues with different sources.
•Hyperbole is definitely an issue with many members on this forum (across the entire internet really), on all sides of this discussion.

Other than 2-ups and maybe the prototype the WWE figures aren’t now or ever were hand painted.

Other than 2-ups and maybe the prototype the WWE figures aren’t now or ever were hand painted. Ok, I'll take your word for it. Like I said, the info I have is a few years old, and maybe different companies have things done differently, like decoing a Transformer versus a Barbie. What are the more effective and cheaper methods that have replaced stencils/masks/tampography? (That's what I mean by hand painting, not that someone draws Balor's bodypaint by hand lol) Do all parts of a WWE figure go in that fancy printer the heads get popped into?

I don’t know what technology they use on the deco now, but when you say “hand painted” that specifically means painting by hand. You should have just said painting.

I'm gonna assume there's still a human element in painting them then. From now on I'll say "Human Painted" lmao
The gladiator guy made it sound like they just chuck a bucket of parts into a machine and they come out magically painted and sorted at the other end. Felt like Rip Van Winkle for a sec, like I woke up late and all the factory workers were replaced by sentient robots lol
Anyway, the point is, feel free to blame Mattel's team when they set a waistband too low, or spend money making 2 excellent hand molds they only use once and never again, but refuse to make a front-half female ab piece with a filled belly button. Don't blame them when the figure is crosseyed, that's on the factory worker (or the robot, or whoever the hell is painting these things)

There's no excuse for those trunks. You are telling me this passed the eye test of more than one person? Multiple people looked at those trunks and nobody said anything?
That said, I'll take the porn trunks over that hideous, unrecognizable face scan. Buzz, your girlfriend. Woof.

So is anyone ever going to post a comparison in hand pic of the final product with other Mattel figures to see the head size?

The only glimpse we've seen is only her head, in that other topic with the Mortal Kombat fig
You'd better believe if I had it I'd have taken all sorts of pics in compromising positions by now lol
