I'm looking to start my own Pic Fed, but have no knowledge what so ever on how to do it. Would you be able to take the photos and put shows together off a cell phone or a computer is needed? Is there a particular program you guys use to put shows together, if so what's the name of it? Also how do you add text and music to the photos? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Was looking to start very soon with a press conference on December 26 and the first weekly episode on New Years Eve at midnight will be the official kickoff of the fed! Thanks again

I'm still waiting for a few things before i start mine early next year. But from what i've been told, seen and found out, these are some of the basics.
- A decent roster of maybe about 10-15. - About 2-3 feuds that will keep people interested in your show and have something to look forward to. - A good setup, so whether you have a scale ring or a spring ring, set it up next to a wall or if you're using a dining table for example, set a cardboard wall behind it to eliminate a living room atmosphere. - Good lighting to make sure people can see what's happening. You can set your arena up under a ceiling light, use the flash off your phone or camera, or if you have a desk lamp, you can shine that to the ring. - Play out a match before you film it, this way you can creatively vision what you want to do and come up with some good ideas.
Now as for the filming itself, i plan on using my phone - Samsung Galaxy S7, so any smart phone above say an iPhone 5 would produce the best quality pictures, alternately you could use a camera.
- A type of tripod device would work great for capturing aerial shots as you won't have to hold the phone/camera and can keep the same position throughout the move. You could make this simply out a stack of DVD's and something to make sure the phone doesn't fall. I remember in some old Grims Toy Show videos, his makeshift tripod was made out of Lego.
- I'm not too familiar with any editing software for phones, but a simple program to use on Computer is Windows Movie Maker. With this, after you've uploaded your photos onto Computer, you can upload them into Movie Maker. When you've got all your pics ready on the program, you can edit the time they play for.
For example, you can edit them all down to 1 second so the flow of your match/segment is good and each image isn't playing too for too long. Once you've got that done, there's an option to add music or any audio. If you've got the music file on your computer then it's as easy as selecting it. Now Movie Maker is known to crash sometimes so make sure to save every now and then (Even though i believe it has an austosave feature where the next you you open the program it'll have a 'resume' option to pick up where you left off).
It looks like a lot to take in here but in practice it's a lot easier and you'll have a lot of creative fun with it. Here's a little throw together match i made back in October for WFIGS Halloween Havoc, this was my first attempt so i basically just put my ring on my desk with no crowd or even a ref. My lighting isn't the best as it's just a camera flash, and my posing isn't the greatest as i didn't have any string to hold them up in the air.
Hope some of this helps.
