Yeah, if they look good, where can I buy one? Me too. If they look better than the retro's I'll also take a Tugboat, HF Jim Neidhart, HBK w/ Virgil's body, Mega Maniacs Brutus, and the rumored Orange Card Series. Just finished the show, great info! Wish you would do a part II though, I feel like there was more detail that could have been covered and sounded like you could have gone on more lol. I liked the end of the podcast when they were listing their dream black card series figures. I think some of their choices would have been too early for the next wave/series (Supreme Fighting Machine Kama, King Kong Bundy, Allied Powers Davey Boy, Mr. Bob Backlund). Since the green card figures were basically from late 1993 and the orange card series figures were from early 1994, I would say that the black card series figures would have to be from mid 1994. If so, these would be the seven figures I would think would make up the black card series (went with 7 since that's how many the green card series and the rumored orange card series had): Purple Undertaker Bret Hitman Hart King of Harts Owen Hart Jerry the King Lawler Thurman Sparky Plugg Jacques (the Quebecers) Pierre (the Quebecers) I liked the discussion too, but yeah, your list is pretty much spot on with the timeline. Hasbro was always at least a year behind the product. So figures in mid 94' would have been based on the mid 94' roster. Purple Undertaker may even be pushing it, since he didn't wear that attire until SummerSlam 94'. But, a Bret and Undertaker would have been well overdue since they hadn't had figures since the red cards and were at the top of the roster. I remember the Zombie/Rudat fantasy pin set, and those wouldn't have been out til probably 2 years after the line ended. W/ Godwin and Undertaker w/facial appliance.

Would anyone mind posting some of the top news items in the podcast that we didn't know about before (like with the head sculpts in the previous post). Half my Hasbro collection was stolen or is missing -- and seems to painful to listen to a whole show about tons of figures I no longer have. But I'd really love to hear some of this news. I'd appreciate it! Well, they mentioned the HoF line planned for 93' w/ Taker/Savage/Hogan. And the prototype heads that showed up a while back. These would have been like Barbie Doll style figs. But, this has been brought up here by someone a while back as I recall. Can't think of anything that wasn't prior knowledge really. Although, personaly I never noticed that Doink's legs were the legs that were going to be used for R&B Valentine.

And, for clarification, they were talking about the HBK prototype, saying it was Virgil's body. For anyone who wasn't sure, it's in fact Virgil's upper body and Bret's legs. Like 90% of customs I see of him are wrong and it bothers me lol. They usually end up being the shirtless Hogan/Dibiase #3 body.

Great Xmas treat; thanks for putting it together. Like others here, I learned some new stuff about the line, and enjoyed hearing details about how the prototypes have been discovered in recent years. Also I was literally shouting Jerry Lawler’s name at the end for the black card line-up - I’m sure I’ll grow-up at some point... I’d love to hear more about the end of the stands with the Retros - is the App gone then? Or will they just find another way of supplying the code and keeping the price the same? Does this mean the move graphic on the card will return? Love that you guys have influence on the line anyway

True about Purple Undertaker, it would have been a stretch, though if they started the in Mid 94 on a grey one buy the end of 94 they probably would still be working on it and could easily paint the gloves and boots purple before the final production. But I agree with you about the fantasy pins, that roster seemed to be a mesh of 1995 with Vega and Taker being late (after summer slam) 1995, which probably means they wouldn't have seen the light of day until late 1996. Would anyone mind posting some of the top news items in the podcast that we didn't know about before (like with the head sculpts in the previous post). Although, personaly I never noticed that Doink's legs were the legs that were going to be used for R&B Valentine. Never heard of a rumored HOF line, but definitely wouldn't have wanted them to look like Barbie Doll style figures. Would have been better if they kept the Hasbro style figure but added some accessories to the figures to make it a little different than the main line, Hogan with a removable cloth shirt, Savage and Taker with removable hats, etc. I also never knew that they used R&B Valentine's legs for Doink, I learn something new on here every day. And, for clarification, they were talking about the HBK prototype, saying it was Virgil's body. For anyone who wasn't sure, it's in fact Virgil's upper body and Bret's legs. I was looking on eBay and found someone selling a painted and unpainted 2UP heads of Macho Man Randy Savage supposedly for the Series 13 black card set. Anyone know anything about this? Are these customs? Was Savage going to be apart of the rumored black card series? Or are these the heads for the rumored hall of fame series that Ryder and Hawkins were talking about which was going to consist of Hogan, Savage, and Undertaker?
If you go to ebay, put this in the search bar: Randy Savage Unpainted And Painted Unrelased 2up Heads WWF Hasbro

I saw the Undertaker head in a photo with the orange card series heads, and then now Savage in this eBay post.

I just looked through some of my saved photos, and don't see it. I know I saw taker with the rolled back eyes, macho w/ orange shades and a never used style Hogan head w/ bandana. Maybe someone could repost it.
