Just checked brickseek and yep almost every store has them marked down to $13.00. So no flashbacks series 3 in the entire state of Wisconsin, and maybe only a case or two showed up in Minnesota. Thank you Mattel for so poorly distributing series 3 after doing an excellent job on series 2. Walmart wins the worst retailer for exclusives this year. Mattel wins also wins the poop trophy for the best exclusive figure you can't find in store because they either never got them or there on eBay now. So where do I mail the poop trophies ?

Oh and while I am at it, thank you Mattel for giving these figures for free to people who say nothing but good things about them.
Meanwhile in the real world...

I only saw one case, with Harley the only figure gone. To be honest though, I haven't done much hunting at other Walmarts, but still one case for a store with about 160,000 people in the area before you hit your next Walmart. Congrats to that one person that got Race.

I wanted a Harley figure for years. I would have bought the whole series. Walmart sucks but Target has been worse. I never ever saw any of the hall of champions figs. Ever. So much for finally adding Kane to my collection. The hall of fame series with Diesel in it never appeared once in my area either. Garbage.
No more exclusives.

Mattel cannot control how Walmart order their cases. The main problem here seems to be that too many cases of series 2 were ordered because those are the ones that are clogging up the Shelf space where Series 3 should be sitting.

Stop giving mattel a pass, they let walmart over order series 2. Then when those figures starting clogging the shelves after the initial wave they just shrugg there shoulders and say "sorry". Then they short pack Harley Race and then a handful of the thousands of walmart those get series 3 in ? This is inexcusable and should not be tolerated by wrestling fans.

Thanks for sharing.
I live in a metro area of 3.2 million people where we have 15 Walmarts inside of a 20 mile loop. Of those 15, 1 got (1) case of FB Series 3. Now I have no idea about distribution channels, numbers, quantities or ordering, but this to me seems beyond strange. We are a big WWE town. Have a RAW and Smackdown every year. 3.2 million people and 1 Harley. (And that 1 was NOT me!!)
I have to imagine this is a replay of the TNF Elizabeth series. Maybe Walmart punted the Series after 2 and sold off a bulk of Series 3 before even shipping it to distribution centers. Or production was drastically cut on Series 3, but I thought the old adage was that the finances of a lightly produced series or fig never made sense?

Not planning to make any rounds for a while but my stores are some of the worst at clearances. So I wouldn't doubt if all those Razors remain full price around me thru the new year. I got all I need anyway, except for Series 3 Austin which I hope comes up online eventually like the TNF's did.

Sure Mattel shotpacked Race, but I guess the real question is why aren’t the FB waves selling well in your area even with the holiday season? In my area all the WalMarts I go to regularly (6 stores) has had at least two restocks each that I know of for Series 1 & 2 and now Series 3 and every time they were sold out by the end of the week. If your stores really haven’t gotten any Series 3 then maybe WalMart’s corporate decided not to stock them in your area because of poor sales?

No vendor on Earth is going to look at a customer's purchase order and come back with "Hmmmm...are you sure you can move that inventory? We'd hate for you to take a loss on the upfront costs of filling your shelves."

I had one walmart 20 miles away that got 1 case of series 2 flashbacks in. Those sold out over a few weeks and now it's been 6 weeks easy of it being out of stock. I was holding out hope that maybe they would get a case of series 3. Then I check brickseek today and almost every store except one has them marked down to $13. The one store that still has them at full price is the same store that decided to send 3 cases of flashback series 2 after 1 case was sold months ago.

This isn't surprising, given that we knew the line was being cancelled. Stores are putting old stock on clearance before they do their resets in early 2019 to put out new product.

We'd hate for you to take a loss on the upfront costs of filling your shelves." Well I hate to be the guy that rolls in, pushes his glasses up, and says "well actually"...well actually vendors were ordering heavy on the store exclusives and not the main elite line. Mattel told them they wanted to order both not just the store exclusives. So to circumvent the stores from ordering just the store exclusive lines, Mattel decided to pause store line exclusive (Walmart Flashback, Target Hall of Champions) and started placing the store exclusives in the main elite line (Backlund, Dunne, Sherri, and Wolfe) to make stores order those.

Mattel has Jack to do with this.
They gave the figures to Walmart, its up to them to distribute them properly.

I don't think Mattel is at fault for this - it is the Wal-Mart system. They do not balance these out by waves as accurately as they should. While the store needs Elite Flashback Wave 1, then Elite Flashback Wave 2, and then Flashback Wave 3, usually the distribution center only sees that store X needs Flashback figures so they send a case to that store - it may be wave 2 or wave 3, but that doesn't matter to the store because they just know they are low on flashback figures.
The same things happen to the distribution centers, from what I understand. They may be running low on Flashback figures for their district of stores, so they get more flashback figures from other distribution centers. They may not see Wave 1, Wave 2, or Wave 3 - they just see Case of Flashback figures. And that is that.
