Sure Mattel shotpacked Race, but I guess the real question is why aren’t the FB waves selling well in your area even with the holiday season? In my area all the WalMarts I go to regularly (6 stores) has had at least two restocks each that I know of for Series 1 & 2 and now Series 3 and every time they were sold out by the end of the week. If your stores really haven’t gotten any Series 3 then maybe WalMart’s corporate decided not to stock them in your area because of poor sales? This. Also leave it to PJ to always put in in perspective.

It's still bizarre for it to happen on a grand scale across heavily trafficked metropolitan areas, but I suppose.

I would blame Mattel. Series 1 sold well because you had a unique Ultimate Warrior, a Yokozuna and Mean gene as well as Syxx. First time in the line attires and I think first time Gene got an Elite. Then you give us HBK and that was brilliant but you saddle Series 2 with Doink who no one wanted, Alundra Blaze who was mild and then street clothes Razor when you have only done one other and he has tons of cool and colorful attires. Razor is rotting on shelves with Doink. Mattel makes terrible choices on attires and figures and then we try to pass the blame onto WalMart or Target. I guarantee if Series 2 would have flown off the shelves like 1 did we would have 3 everywhere.

This. Also leave it to PJ to always put in in perspective. When he isn't busy completing his paperwork for his AARP card, he's one of the most level headed people here. You know a few years back when DCUC Series 9 was released the store I had preordered them from was hacked and my checking account was hit for $1300 if fraudulent charges one of them was a AARP membership. I wasn’t eligible then, but I think I might be now. lol

Found "Series Three" before the holidays. Steamboat was replaced with a TJP Network Exclusive and SCSA was a Triple-H figure from some series I don't even know. They're gone now, so merry Christmas to whatever kid got those as gifts...

Hopefully, after the Razor's (definitely would have preferred his RR94 or SSlam 94 attires), Alundra's, and Doink's, leave the shelves we'll get more of series three. Still looking for Ricky and Harley.

I wasn’t eligible then, but I think I might be now. lol Wow...lol of all things to get with someone's account info, an AARP membership. That and Itunes the bank said were a couple of test purchases. Then they went to town on shoes and gym equipment. And they probably would have cleaned out the account if I hadn’t checked to see if they had taken the payment. It was a Saturday morning so if I hadn’t noticed before the bank closed at noon they would have had the rest of the weekend to clean it out. But I saw the AARP and went right to the bank. And in that time it took to get to the bank they had done $1300 in charges. It still sucked though because even though they locked that account and blocked all other transactions that weren’t ours it took 3-4 weeks to get our $1300 back. That’s why now we have a new account in a different bank for all online purchases that only needs $5 in the account. So whenever I order something online I put the money in then.

My Walmarts & Targets both suck. I've rarely found anything at either all year.

I wanted a Harley figure for years. I would have bought the whole series. Walmart sucks but Target has been worse. I never ever saw any of the hall of champions figs. Ever. So much for finally adding Kane to my collection. The hall of fame series with Diesel in it never appeared once in my area either. Garbage. No more exclusives. That blows my mind cause HOC 1 and 2 are warming pegs like crazy by my in the western Chicago burbs

Welcome to the world of Australia, Canada, and UK, when ur not guaranteed anything. Nothing beats $30 Store Elites and a minimum $50 for any figure online here in Australia!

I blame Mattel, for making them store exclusives to begin with.

I blame Mattel, for making them store exclusives to begin with. Stores ask for them. They chose figures that otherwise might not sell well

Walmart is the worst. I never saw series 2 in any store and only series 3 once and it was only Roberts and Austin. I still need a Doink and an HBK from series 2 damnit. This distribution has been the worst. I will have to way overpay for the Race and Steamboat figures eventually.

I will gladly admit i am wrong if someone from mattel would give us any information on what happened to the series 3 flashbacks ?? How many stores got series 3 flashbacks stocked in stores up until now ? 100-200 at best guess from every figure finding report and ebay listings ?? They can't have made that few even if walmart cancelled the series months ago, you would think. That is why i tried to hold out hope until they where marked down. Its very doubtful any more stores and gonna get these even after the fact. Hey VintageFigs1 can you help out ?

Supposedly 5 in stock at the wal mart I just visited, and at the clearance price too. Scoured the store up and down. None.
Found fan central Mojo though! Even though I just want that Bryan!

Anyone know a good formula to make that Ricky Steamboat?
I saw someone used the new elite Sting in the white pants, but I can’t decide if that torso is too bulky.
