I Can drive to several Targets,Wal-marts and meijer but they all have nothing, like they are going out of business. Last few years they have had nothing before Christmas and after. If they do happen to get something it's gone in less than a week but that doesn't mean they restock.
Guess nothing came of Bill asking us to photograph our stores to "help with distribution", because it has gotten even worse.

I used to really enjoy with trips to the States to go figure hunting, but I'm not even going to look in the future. The stocking of goods at retailers is horrendous. I also don't like how scalpers have invaded you collecting just like they have with concerts. I honestly think scalping should be illegal and they should receive capital punishment.

I still cannot believe we have no hope in sight of a chance to get Harley. So ridiculous. It'd be nice if someone from Mattel could shed ANY light on this situation. I saw that wave two times around here at two stores and then it evaporated. Really frustrating to not even get a decent chance to buy a highly sought after figure. They're not even on EBay anymore, haha.

I was able to get Jake and Austin but the time I found Steamboat his box was really banged up so I didn't purchase him. Both stores restocked once and that was it. Now stores in Houston are getting the Top Pick sets. Kind of sad that a figure that a good number of people were excited to get didn't get a chance to get it.

I've also visited about 8 Walmarts over the last ten days or so - barely saw any WWE items. Two of the stores had filled in all the WWE pegs with Yu-Gi-Goh toys (or whatever they are) and had zero WWE stuff. Was really hoping to find some Flashback Elites or Fan Central stuff, was highly frustrated & disappointed.
Why do these so-called "Big" stores (Walmart, Target) only seem to get ONE CASE of ONE TYPE of figures at any given time? It seems like IF they even have figures (many times they don't) - they either have Basics, or Elites, or Retros, or Zombies..... but they never get all the lines together (?).....
2019 Collecting has become a pretty sad hobby......

I remember this time of year last year there was the big restock which led to older elites showing up at 5 below, tj maxi, etc. give it time. We just finished the holiday season, there will be new figs again in the near future. I will agree the Harley Race situation is absolutely horrible on the part of Mattel.

On last weeks Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, Curt Hawkins said he went to 6 Walmarts with Finn Balor on the road and found nothing on the pegs. Its not just your area.

I braved public transit, sitting their for collectively hours, to go to the other Walmart in town. Really glad I did!! Picked up what looked like one of their last two Alundra Blayze (Madusa). $9 and used xmas money from my Dad. Still don't like how small the belt is.

Still don't like how small the belt is. It fits in an action figure-scaled trash can easier that way.

A localish Walmart is listed on Brickseek as having 8 Flashbacks in stock. I was there last week (didn’t check Brickseek then) and they weren’t on the shelf. What’s the likelihood that they are tucked away in back somewhere considering it sounds like a full case?
It’s an hour drive or so, so I’m just pumping myself up to maybe find a Harley or be disappointed in the end 🤯

If it is indeed series 3, I’ll gladly PayPal you for a set of 4 moc! Lol

We don't want walmart to kill brickseek off like target did.

We'll see if the inventory updates over the next few days and maybe I'll try again.

I’ve checked stores in NJ and PA since New Year’s Day and noticed the Brickseek numbers are “frozen” at a number, yet FBs are nowhere on the floor. I suspect the “in stock” quantity are either boxed up or are already in route to a discount chain.
I can confirm the numbers are active/valid, because I found a buried Steamboat at my local WM, which hasn’t updated feom “limited stock” since Halloween. As soon as I purchased Ricky, the Brickseek listing for that store went to “out of stock” for the first time in three months.

On a brighter note, Series 63 is starting to hit retail. This is the only one I found last night at target.

Well, distribution was better in my area this Christmas as opposed to the previous year. All of my area Walmarts had plenty of basic 87 (and some 81) throughout December. Many stores got Elite 62 about 7-10 days into December. They went fast, but at least they had them. Christmas 2018 was far better than Christmas 2017 around me.
I will always remember Christmas 2017 as the year of the Survivor Series end cap that sat around and became the last shipment before Christmas for Elites. Basic 77 came in mid November and never again, so there were literally no basics during the month of December in 2017.
