So I got the Undisputed Era 3 pack over the holidays and all three of the figures have the faulty left shoulder joint that prevents the arm from being able to do a full 360 rotation. Bobby Fish’s torso even cracked open while trying to loosin the joint. Why is this still a thing all this time later? So many great figures have been ruined due to this major QC issue and there seems to be no end to it in sight.

Welcome to the Club! Most of my figures that share the same torso have had the same problem, especially AJ Styles. Both my Elite 56 and Top Picks Styles had this problem where you could barely move the arm, which then resulted in the arm snapping on both. Now they both have what i like to call 'Helicopter Arm'. My Elite 59 Miz also had the same problem, resulting in a snap, though his arm isn't as bad at AJ's but still loose. Fortunately my Undisputed Era have been fine, except i've noticed recently Fish's left arm is a bit tough to move back and is experiencing this issue a bit. The fact that this issue is STILL happening and Mattel isn't doing anything about it is pathetic. Instead of directing some time and money towards fixing this issue, they'll gladly give us Basic Chase Variants... Because everyone's dying for Basic Chase variants... When people spend money on your product, they should be expecting a good figure worth the price, they shouldn't be expecting a broken, botched paint job disaster. I've got 2 sets of Bludgeons Pre-Ordered and i'm already trying to think of what will be wrong with them. Until these issues are addressed and fixed, i stand by this picture.

I’ve been out of collecting for a few years. I’m not looking forward to seeing which of my Christmas gets have this issue. I have like 15 figures that I have to open, and at least one of them is bound to have it given how common it seems to be. I really hope I luck out, but his was an issue I only ever experienced with Jakks.

As a customizer, that would be pretty sweet to me if all I had to do is turn the arm to crack open a torso lol
But yeah, that sucks. I have a Finn and Sami with a similar issue.

Heat the arm up in boiling water and then slowly push it in. Re-soak it if necessary.

From my experiences - Only figures with the smaller torso (UE, Bryan, Styles etc) have the shoulder issue. - Figures with the Triple H torso tend to have a loose waist and stiff shoulder joints (Not the same issues as above) - 9/10 Figures are going to have a paint flaw - Some figures have warped knee joints - (Not an experience for me) But recently a lot of other people's figures are coming two of the same leg Just a small heads up.

This is why it's annoying being forced to order online, Mattel's QC seems to be on the decline and it's so much hassle returning stuff.

Have you cracked open any of these figures with the faulty shoulder joint? Would be interesting to know what exactly is causing this. Hey MattelDesignTeam how about getting this taken care of? You’re shipping broken goods and it’s been going on far too long now.

The problem I have a lot is the foot becomes loose. Happened with my DM Nakamura, one of my Lesners and Ziggler

It usually means having no ankle rocker but it makes the ankle a lot firmer. Still haven't come across the left arm qc but then I haven't unboxed a lot of my recent purchases. Have had a few figures with paint flaws though.

It's always worked for me and I haven't had an issue with the arm being extremely loose or loose afterwards. Definitely take your time with pressing it into its place gently and always reheat it and try again if you can't get it down on the first attempt. I had an Adam Cole and Apollo Crews that came with a stuck arm joint.

That one I am not too sure of, but it's always a pain when I open up a new figure and their arms are locked in a certain way, and I have to heat up some water to fix it. It actually was never an issue until this past year or two for me.

My Adam Cole literally has a hole right in the middle of the chest. I've seen the same issue with someone else's Bobby Fish. I can feel the arms on my Fish and O'Reilly getting ready to snap, thankfully Cole is okay... For now.

It's a problem with the cruiserweight torso and arm combination. For whatever reason it doesn't have fluid motion. I don't know why. It wasn't a problem 2 years ago, but since then, nearly every figure I've had with that body mold has had a messed up left shoulder joint. I'm talking 30 figures.

You can especially tell when you bend the figures knees, it just seems very lightweight and “sticky”. Considering the premium price they are asking for this pack it’s a real bummer that they have all these issues. I’m shocked that MattelDesignTeam isn’t taking this issue as seriously as they should, these figures are essentially broken right out of the box.
