I'll say this, Even though Andre was in real bad shape during those last few years of his WWF run man did he have some great feuds. Hogan,Jake,Duggan hell even his brief feud with Warrior was entertaining. Who could forget the ''Ultimate Giant!!''

I'll say this, Even though Andre was in real bad shape during those last few years of his WWF run man did he have some great feuds. Hogan,Jake,Duggan hell even his brief feud with Warrior was entertaining. Who could forget the ''Ultimate Giant!!''
not to mention him/haku and the fued with demolition.

Warrior was IC champ during these matches so it was a couple months before all that. I understand getting Warrior over but like you said, hated seeing that. I recall reading after WM V Vince made the decision to just have Andre do mostly tag matches since as evident in the match with Jake at that event he just couldn't do it no more in that singles setting.
It was obviously true because besides that brief feud with Warrior, all his matches up until WM VI was in tag matches and that appearance in the Rumble in 90. Thinking about it all his matches for the rest of his career were primary tag matches. He might've had one single match on occasion but I'm pretty sure it was all tags.
