If I counted correct, 13/20 figure of the year were flashbacks. Yet let's cut production of them. These votes mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, these votes are only from the people hardest of hardcore collectors and that's just counting people who interact online. There was over 1,000 voters according to the OP. You can't use these as a crutch when there's millions of people who buy these toys every year

... so, Bill isn’t considered a hardcore collector 🤷🏻♂️
Seems like if the guy that’s over the line trys to balance out hardcore collector / kids wanting Rocks & Cena’s, wouldnt be so slim on putting out Flashbacks for the “hardcore” collectors.
Cant even keep one line dedicated to them past a handful of series ...

I wonder if the fact that no one can find Harley helped the votes, because he murdered the polls EXACTLY what happened. I never even so much as heard people wanting or asking for him and now that he is impossible to find, he is the best? Not buying it

He gets things none of us will ever see and throws us a bone here and there. I’ve said it a million times but it’s not Mattel’s or Bills job to be our friend. It’s to squeeze every last penny of disposable income out of us. And sometimes that means BAFs or putting an accessory or better head sculpt with one figure do you have to buy 2-3 to have a great one.

It’s to squeeze every last penny of disposable income out of us. And sometimes that means BAFs or putting an accessory or better head sculpt with one figure do you have to buy 2-3 to have a great one. I get all of that, too. I’m just saying that with everything at his disposal, it seems like the flashbacks get put on the back burner ... a lot. Bill has done a sh*tload for us Flashback guys, but sometimes it does seem like they neglect them for the sake of current guys, when they give us the ole “We’re trying to find a slot for *insert flashback here*, so sometime soon” ... why not just make them online exclusives then 🤷🏻♂️ I get that most kids dont want a Koko B Ware or a Hercules and Bill knows this, however at the same time whenever they need help figuring out who to include, they come asking this forum and post up polls on wwe.com with gimmicks that they know us collectors are going to vote on, that half the time dont end up winning anyways. Pretty much, stop teasing and just randomly throw something out there, if that’s what you want/are only able to do ... but don‘t be like “Oh, yea, see we had it slated for a spot but had to change it so I’m not sure when ... sometime 2019 possibly early 2020” ... that’s annoying as hell. Other than that, Bill has done a fantastic job with what he has to work with.

I agree with the results for the most part. I think Scotty 2 Hotty should of got some more love though. It's a pretty good figure. I agree

Same with Karl Anderson. Both are much better than Giant Machine.

It’s funny how FB3 Harley Race is the top vote getter when most collectors don’t have it.

I think Harley's hard to find status has elevated its profile profile a bit. It's a very, very well done figure. But it basically ran away with figure of the year, which was a little surprising.
There were some really good figures released this year. They didn't all fit into my collection, but I think on the whole the design work is some of Mattel's best to date.

I do the think the mass hysteria over the Harley figure has greatly helped... I mean, it's a fantastic figure - but so are a lot of others in the poll... and to beat them all by SO much!? If it was an easily available figure or warming shelves at Walmart, I don't think it would be #1/as high...

Best Basic Flair? You guys are hilarious Absolutely! It's a great figure - and a new head sculpt too. I always thought it would be between him and the green-suited Million Dollar Man from Series 1.

I’m confused. Howard Finkel is an elite but won 2nd in the basic category? Just because it was packed with basics doesn’t make it basic.

Harley Race does look really great but I don't have one so it doesn't matter. I was just thinking about my favorite of 2018, and it might very well be Undertaker from HoC series 1. It's been a while since he was out so I had to think hard if he even was from this year. Beautiful scan, great attire, unique torso, he's definitely my favorite Undertaker and from the time I was really big into WWF.
My close second is Elite 57 Jeff Hardy. Amazing scan, great torso choice, and his tats blow me away. We went from no chance in hell of a Jeff Hardy figure to several in one year but that one is my favorite.
