Don’t be surprised if AEW pulls all their talent from indie shows until this pandemic is over. It appears as if there is some wide spread wrestling outbreak unfolding at the moment.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that happens. Would mean they'll have to make a decision on the enhancement talent though. Pay them enough to stay full time and give them actual short term contracts or cut down to just actual roster members

Who is literally one of the hottest indie talents out there. Wrestles for the New Japan Doio, was at the last weekend GCW events so he had contact there with AEW, New Japan, ROH, Impact, and NXT talent all within the last two weeks.

Covid is going to be a concern as long as people are traveling in from all over the country.
It’ll be interesting to see how many people get handshake deals to only work AEW for Dark or squashes.

I managed to get it, and I'm about as restrictive as anyone. I either got it through the AC in our house, or from my son contracting it from fomites. At this point, it would probably be in their best interest to pull talent from indy shows, where things are less-safe. They can get it anywhere, as I did, but why take the additional risk?

I hope you fully recovered. It's highly contagious and it's not going anywhere anytime soon (the US lost that battle). I'm really interested to see what their policy is going to be going forward. There might not be 20+ matches on Dark every week now...lol

I mean there full roster is big enough could still do those 8-11 dark matches with all roster people if they wanted to.
Personally I'd take the Indy talent they've used frequently, sign them to six month deals. Should be able to pay enough now that they have some fans back. It's not like that talent needs a huge contract to make it with their while, just enough to make it worth not doing Indies.

I was only in the hospital for a day, and was only admitted as a precaution. I likely didn't need it. Thanks for looking out. There is so much talent in FL alone, they should be able to make it work. They could also film a month out. It's crazy that there has been more pandemic-era episodes of Dynamite than those with fans.

Chelsea Green has/had covid, Deonna Purazzo has been exposed and going into quarantine. It’s crazy when you realize how small of a world wrestling is. There is a wide spread outbreak currently happening that involves every single wrestling company in the US and that’s just people who have said they have it, not even people who haven’t.

That rescheduled collective is two weeks away, that just seems like it’s gonna get even more snakebitten as we get closer.

Didn’t Jaguars fans suffer enough last night? At least they got some entertainment! Sammy Guevara was also at the game in person and got RKO’d into the pool by a mascot.

Putting the stampede on at halftime was a great idea. I know some here didn't like it, but it got over big and I think would have huge appeal to people new to wrestling. Having Sammy do that spot was fun too. Most of the wrestlers were at the game, since they're taping next dynamite/dark stuff today.

so, what's the deal with the stadium stampede? did ya'll just genuinely not like it, or did the drowning spot immediately after shad's death kill it for you? i'm not big on the cinematic crap that's been done during the covid era but i certainly had fun watching it.

Made it to MJ's locomotion suplexes last night, will finish the show up later tonight. To me, the editing and action just seems too disjointed. It just jumps from one scene to the next without transitions. There have been similar matches where the action was much easier to follow, though with fewer competitors in a more confined space. Maybe more aerial/drone cams would have helped. Did think Hardy's part with PNP dragged a bit on, felt the actual Elite needed to be showcased rather than the Broken One. Not unwatchable. Had more criticisms about the Casino Ladder Match.
