Factions are good when factions are effective and built with purpose. The Inner Circle were good when they were protecting Le Champion, but every other faction? I don't know why they exist. Omega forming a team to protect him from Moxley could easily feel like a repeat of Jericho, but there may be a cool twist to be put on it. I loved Dragon Gate's faction system. When everyone is in a faction, outlaw loners like Moxley really stand out.

Maybe it's been talked about or is being talked about elsewhere but
STING!
I seldom watch much AEW, but I was actually watching last night just by coincidence. Then I turned the channel when Cody's match ended, only to turn back after the break and see the recap of Sting showing up. I'm so pissed at myself for missing it because I would have geeked out bigtime.

Jon Moxley is such a ing star. It's honestly unreal how good he is. AEW lucked out so hard that he was fed up with WWE.

All of that wasted potential so he could do lame prop comedy and make bad jokes. The fact that he still got some of that lame stuff over is a testament to his ability and I never doubted that once he got the chains off he would be a huge deal for wherever he landed

I listened to the unrestricted podcast today with Wardlow and man that guy is gonna be a star. He’s very well spoken and naturally likeable. He looks like a prototype WWE guy but when he talks you’re like oh this dude isn’t just some dumb jock that came from some other sport he wasn’t good at

Edwards killed the whole thing for me. Glad to hear our boy Wardlow did great though.

If healthy enough would love to see Sting wrestle a few matches in AEW during this run.Yes at 61 that's getting pretty up their in age but the likes of Dory,Terry,Lawler,Flair..ect all wrestled in their 60's and in the case of but Terry Funk & Jerry Lawler where doing pretty physical work.Lawler at 62 I believe in WWE wrestle Miz a few times and in a TLC match for the WWE Title and then went on to have a few matches against Michael Cole & Jack Swagger.
Again not saying I want to see Sting wrestle weekly, monthly or all that often but a handful of matches if done right would be great.Easy him in with a couple of tag team bouts with a limited role to see how he feels and how things goes and then a singles match against Cody,Darby and a true "Icon Vs. Legend" match against Jericho. Those are the three matches I want to see.

6 man tag, stinger splash, scorpion death drops, scorpion death lock. that's all that is needed, a couple times if the first goes well.

Sting vs Jericho in a regular one on one match is great on paper, but it’d have the potential to be really, really, really bad.

Agreed the match would need smoke and mirrors as Jericho has lost a step or two and clearly isn't in the shape he once was. Think more along the lines of Hogan/McMahon at WM XIX where you had a great storyline and then a brawl for the match, didn't even have any risky spots really besides the ladder leg drop by Vince. But just seeing Sting & Jericho face to face would be a hell of a moment, don't think they've even been on screen together or wrestled against each other.

1. I am glad Sting is now in AEW. It gives him a chance to rebuild his image and legacy after how badly the WWE misused him.
But 2. Watching his AEW debut, it didn't really look like he wanted to be there. He looked kinda sad, like he was only going through the motions. Granted, his stare-down with Darby Allin was cool. Almost a look of "Yeah, I could still take you".
With his debut entrance, does Sting now have cold and ice powers or something?

If all he is going to do is stare at people and sit in the rafters like he did in WCW for 2 years, while the announcers go nuts, he can go home now. He can manage/coach, help faces in peril and maybe a match or two if he still has it, but the staring and silence needs to go. Tell people why you are here, what you intend on doing and let's get to it.
