Brian Cage is done with AEW/ROH after the show tomorrow. As of right now. Or, in the words of Meltzer "He's finishing up with AEW/ROH. Unless he signs a new deal. Then he's not finishing up".

Yes supposedly they made an offer to resign him, he turned them down. I assume he is going to go see if WWE is still interested in him otherwise I assume he goes back?

Tony Khan has a huge announcement for next week's dynamite, he called it very exciting news.
They lost 120k viewers last night so no surprise he has gone back to what works.

That's the TK special all right. I'm assuming it'll be the UK tour dates. Though I assume he would have planned a 'special announcement' for this week regardless of ratings. Just with it being WM weekend and all, gotta create some hype for your own company post WM. Anyone outside of the "AEW only" fanbase will be gassed from WM, the indie events, or both.

It might also be the 6:05 Saturday TBS show

Pretty much admitted at the scrum that he has at least talked to Goldberg.

I liked watching Goldberg kill guys in 30 seconds, it’s always fun. Goldberg vs Ziggler at Summerslam was a lot of fun. However seeing Goldberg have competitive wrestling matches with main event level contemporaries is not my bag. I will watch Goldberg kill Evil Uno, or Peter Avalon for days, I have less than zero interest in watching Goldberg have a match with Omega, MJF, Darby etc.

Please no Goldberg, for the love of everything. I can think of very few people I'd rather see less than ol bill.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I feel like you might have made a list at one point of potential jumps and you said something along the lines of seeing value in anyone but Braun, Goldberg, and The Bellas? Well three of the four are available 😂

Can I watch Evil Uno kill Goldberg instead? I’ll sign up for that.

I'd love to see Goldberg throw around Darby.

I'd only like Goldberg to show up to help Sting in some capacity. Have him come in and finish off Satnam Singh in 30 seconds. Something like that.

The ball is back in Tony's court now. After WWE have ruined the good faith they have built up since last summer. I just hope AEW take advantage by being head & shoulders the better show again.

After that Raw knowing Vince is back in charge, Tony's big announcement on Dynamite should be, "We're hiring."

Aew has been at its absolute best since the Elite came back (not just because of them, that's only part of it imo). It's always been #1 in my books though I've had my gripes and still do. But the last few weeks especially have felt very authentically aew.
Just please keep the j.a.s away from Adam cole, and bill old far away from the company period.
Fingers crossed we get to breathe with the Switchblade on Wednesday.

Fingers crossed we get to breathe with the Switchblade on Wednesday. He has a weird thing with being determined to sign all of his childhood heroes, which I get to a degree. But really I’d say Sting was the only one to add value so far? Punk kinda being in the middle. But I don’t think the Hardy’s or Big Show have done anything positive for his company, I don’t think that fan base wants Goldberg? Right? Edit: Forgot him saying Christian was one of his all time favorites too. Christian has worked out better than most, not sure I’d say he has been worth his value.

Just because Vince is back and he’s a hack, doesn’t mean it erases all Tony’s flaws as a booker. A lot to look forward to from both companies, but also a lot of bad decisions will continue too.
