I don't see OC as a guy that should take the world title just yet but imo he's been the best in ring AEW(maybe in the business) wrestler of 2023 so far,hes made this title mean a lot more then I ever thought it would get to. He is one of the true real pillars. |

I would LOVE to see Orange Cassidy win the big one. He very quickly became a favorite of mine and my friends. Even if he won it and lost it back right away, I don’t care, I want to see him win it.
I’m also on board with Adam Cole eventually beating MJF.

I get why some people don't like him but if you give the guy a chance,you can almost guarantee hes gonna impress you. |

tbh I'm less invested in who beats MJF for the title and just really hope whoever it is loses it to Swerve.

What I'm reading is suggesting this "soft split" (ie no draft or anything it's a very fluid situation) was happening with or without Punk. I agree it would be way too much for one dude, but it sounds like it's just happening regardless. |

I was catching up on observer radio and they didn’t go into “soft split” or anything, but I mean they are all currently feuding with Punk and FTR in what is probably “worst wrestling feud of the year” anyway. |

Finally finished rampage.... 4 Thoughts.
1) Eff TSN! They hit their last straw with me. Bit the bullet and VPN'd up and signed up for AEW Plus. TSN direct was already hot garbage, but trying their new TSN plus thing has been even worse. jeez.
2) I'm loving this build towards the 4 pillars main event at DoN and I'm so hyped for it.
3) I love that the Acclaimed are at the level they are. Watching people develop from functionally nothing (Yeah, Bowen's was a hot prospect but that's it) into what they are is exactly what I wanted out of AEW. The Acclaimed, and the Pillar and the Killer are perfect examples of it. (Yes, I knew who Bowen's and Baker were before, and I was already a huuuuge Hayter fan, but the general public wasn't and that's the point. That's not for "indie cred" I just like watching independent wrestling and Stardom).
4) I cannot believe I get to see Forbidden Door in person. Counting the days!

Even the thought that hardcore AEW fans, who hate Punk, will be forced to decide whether they want to not fully support the AEW product or watch CM Punks Saturday show is peak comedy. Especially if the show has acts like Cole, Britt, HOB, and Danhausen.

At least they probably won't have to be forced to for long,he'll do something Punk like again and be gone before we know it. Then him and Dax can have something else to cry about.

I don’t think giving a guy his own show when he’s already shown to have a massive ego problem is a good move but I’ll check it out regardless and see how round 2 of Punk goes

Just hope he can stay peaceful until after Wembley and a new TV deal being signed. Get through that massive show and get the tv deal signed for TK before you have your next temper tantrum Phil. Please.

I just want this to be entertaining. Safe. But entertaining.
And if they’re really doing a soft split and keeping Punk away from certain folks then this definitely was not a work. Kinda like it was obvious it wasn’t.
But for all you “it’s a work” guys out there.. I’m rubbing this one in a little bit 😉

It would be the worst work of all time if it was and I know I give Tony a lot of criticism which I think is more than deserved but even he isn't that bad of a booker.
