I feel it's easy for me to say they should just agree to work together and do the Punk/FTR vs. Elite match cause I wasn't the one who had a chair thrown at my head lol But...but.. he's down to play ball now that he realizes he's got to swallow his pride to get his job back,thats gotta mean the other guys are the babies right? lol |

I don’t see how it makes the Bucks or Kenny look like babies, or at least worse compared to Punk. Punk f*cked up to start this whole thing. He’s been away for suspension/injury with questions if he’d ever come back, it’s easier for him to cave to try/want to make some kind of amends so that he can come back. The Elite are there, they’re not going anywhere (yet anyway), I don’t fault them if they don’t want to accommodate Punk coming back.

Sounds like Bear Country whatever they were called after that aren’t with AEW anymore. Where'd you hear that? Would be very strange they just added a third and were on bte today. |

Nothing about AEW but they are back to being bear country on the indies, as faces old gimmick and all. They also are also trying to get booked for an overseas tour which I thought was odd. Edit: Now it sounds like a bunch of contracts just recently expired. Leva Bates has announced her contract expired. |

Sounds like Dark and Dark Elevation are both finished. Thank God, they made sense during the pandemic. But if an argument for a show to exist is to give wrestlers on the roster matches because they don't get onto the main shows...Then the roster shouldn't be so huge in the first place. |

This way they won’t have to rent out universal anymore. They did tape Dark last night so it sounds like it isn’t happening until the new show starts. |

I gotta feeling that AEW will continue to grow & grow, that’s great news for the industry as a whole.
I’ve loved it so far as a nice alternative in regards to WWE tbh... both companies are doing good.

So the current rumors coming from very credible sources are indicating the right renewal deal is about to be broken publicly really soon.
Hearing $1 billion (or roughly that) over x years. 5 years is the most common number I've seeing.
Until it's official, nothing is official, but....
That's a big money deal.

I’m most curious about the streaming and ppv streaming. I’d love to watch the ppvs but WWE spoiled me on that 9 years ago. I’ll never go back to paying full price for ppv unless it’s a one time thing, like I did for All Out 2021

Timing couldn't be better (which, I'm sure is intentional). WBD Up-fronts coming up, and there's a writers strike going on. I'm sure it's been in the works for a while but that writer's strike probably sealed it up real nice and pretty.
