I guess it wasn’t a work…?
If it’s all real, I’m starting to wonder if Punk intentionally wanted out. I find it odd that weeks before his return to AEW was announced, he was meeting with WWE superstars, apologizing/making amends.
Starting to think Punk wanted a WWE return, couldn’t get it, settled with an AEW return. It all just seems weird.

Well it was bound to happen eventually. Just wait until he goes on the Art of Wrestling to let loose...oh wait...

Why would they want him back, especially after all of this factored in with the past issues? The guy obviously never changed and remained the same self centered douche he’s always been

Absolutely loved his run the last two years. If a match vs Joe is his last ever, it’s poetic as hell. Still an unapologetic Punk fan.

Besides with all the bullcrapthat's went down with Punk and The Elite and now Perry, why in the world would WWE even want him back?

It'll be interesting to see how/if the crowds hijack the shows tonight and tomorrow.

I know everyone has mixed feelings but I have a heavy heart today.
Coming from a bit of bias but I've followed CM punk's career since he debuted in WWE (I know I know not ROH so I'm not a hardcore)
But...I never saw him live.
Sunday I was excited as I saw my hero live finally in front of the biggest paid crowd in pro wrestling history.
The trip down since experiencing that has felt like freefall this week.
Glad I got to see CM Punk wrestle live.
Say what you will but he is a legend in this business. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all of the memories and matches.

Exactly. Having one last handful of matches and reuniting with Christian before he finally hangs the boots up for good would be a nice ending to his career. He’s done everything he can with WWE Fantasy land. Edge isn’t ruining the good will he’s built with WWE over the past 25 years. Especially not for the circus show. Yeah, I wouldn't have thought he'd want to tarnish his legacy, and throw away 25 years of loyalty, by stepping foot in that playpen - and especially not just to 'win' a worthless tag-title.

We are at a very special moment in time, where TNA 20 years ago was more entertaining and engaging than the current number two company in the world. Smh 🤦

Nothing against theMOESIAH (idk who that is) but I thought I created this thread ages ago? Not that it matters or anything I just noticed it finally and got a chuckle from it. Unless he posted before me and deleted it or something. Been so long I dont even remember.

Santana and Ortiz are fighting still in real life and are gonna split the team up. Both will absolutely fail on their own. Oh well.

I know it shouldn't matter but I hate the Mike in his name now. Santana was fine,no need to add the Mike lol.
I can see Santana being ok in the singles division but hopefully they stick Ortiz somewhere because I don't see him doing to good on his own.

Yeah, they were immensely more valuable as a unit. Neither will do huge things alone, and really should have been slotted with Eddie Kingston to go after the trios titles.
