Going from one company that made him a star to one that doesn't know how to book him.  Better blame Dragon himself. He is calling his own shots. TK is a wrestling mark and is giving this man free reign on how he's gonna finish up his full time status.ย If you think the above graphic is someone being booked poorly I'd love to know more about how someone gets booked well. He's had 3 singles matches just this year that will go down as some of the best in company history. ON TOP OF BEING HURT. TK still gets the blame. He's the boss. I'm not saying the matches Bryan has aren't great. They are. I just think he's been handled poorly since going to AEW. He should be the focal point. He's the biggest star they have and should have been having matches against top stars all the time. Nobody knows who Rush and Bandido are, other than wrestling fans on the internet. There's more to wrestling than matches that don't matter. Bryan is this generation's Bret, whether you guys want to admit it or not. A hot star coming from the competition that's booked horribly. AEW has completely fallen off compared to where they were a year ago or so and part of that is how TK books stars like Bryan and to a lesser extent Punk. |

Facts are facts. AEW has completely fallen off since last year. Bret Hart had to work with all of the people he hated, walk over a seizing and overdosed Kevin Sullivan backstage, got 8 minute matches on TV and got his career ended by Goldberg. Danielson is picking all of his own spots and given a totally open and blank canvas to be the best wrestler in the world, AND having ALL-TIME bouts that plenty of wrestling fans will call some of their favorites. WWE 2023 is not WWF 1997 and AEW 2023 is not WCW 1998. Danielson is so so so so so so far from Bret in every aspect besides the technical style in-ring. At the end of Bret's WCW run, he had nothing but distain for everything he did there and everyone he had to work with. When Danielson is done, AEW is going to be better off because of his contributions and he's going to be glowing about the promotion for the rest of his days. "Internet fan" wrestlers -- more like wrestlers who can do spectacular performances in-ring that already have credibility. If you don't know Bandido, you'll be impressed by the end of his first match. It has nothing to do with if the internet likes them or not, my goodness. A comment incredibly stuck in 2007. By that standard we shouldn't introduce anyone new? TK should've saw a fantastic match on paper and said, "actually, Bryan, we can't do that. I'm not sure how many internet fans are out there." No -- he said my 1A guy wants to wrestle this incredible prospect and give him a rub on TV, and by the end of it all, we'll have another potential star that we can continue to grow. And who should Danielson wrestle on TV? He needs opponents. If he's WANTING to wrestle every week and he's in a feud with, lets say, Ricky Starks -- should we be getting Ricky Vs Dragon every Wednesday? And then 2 PPV blow offs? Do you think a better schedule for Danielson is Vs Ricky, Vs Ricky, Vs Big Bill, Vs Ricky and Big Bill, and Vs Ricky again? There is more ways to approach wrestling than what has been presented to you over the last X years. I can understand not liking the creative side but the Bret comparison couldn't be more night and day. |

There's just more to wrestling than meaningless matches and AEW's style of booking has pushed away a sizable amount of fans. Live attendance has cratered and TV ratings are down. Less people are watching than before when they should be growing. They can't just cater to hardcore fans, they need to bring in casual viewers also to keep up any momentum. Bryan should have had a run with the world title there and then passed it on to the next guy they're building up. Instead we have MJF and a guy only hardcore fans know feuding over the title, in a storyline that's almost a direct copy of the Nyla and Jade storyline from a year ago. Why am I supposed to care about Jay White? I don't watch New Japan. AEW does a piss poor job of getting new wrestlers over to viewers that might not be familiar with them. They act like everybody is supposed to know all of the wrestlers they bring in and that's not the case. |

AEW half fills a 7,000 seat arena so itโs more noticeable. Just have to remind wrestling fans to not be awful in public. And to shower and wear deodorant. And not poop your pantsโฆ |

Juice is honestly more captivating. Jay White just seems bland and boring. Not a fan of face MJF either, but Iโll take it over White. |

MJF is such a weird example of when and when not to push a guy and why. As a heel, he was SO over but only for a moment. He got stale with his same schtick very quickly. Then he went face and was WAY over but only for a brief moment. People wanted the heel back. Then he became this current tweener with AC and we're starting to sour again.
I think it's more he hasn't found himself rather than the fans deciding what version of MJF they like best. He needs to find what works best and stick with it. He also needs to learn how to shorten his promos ... by minutes. He has the gift, he has the brains, but he just can't seem to put it all together.
