I wouldn't say I've enjoyed Fight for the Fallen as much as the past 2 events it's still been a pretty good show.

I think I enjoyed this show more than Fyter Fest. Really good action throughout the entire event. All Out is shaping up quite nicely.

I thought the PPV was good, the Brandi match was by far the worst one of the card. AEW still needs to work on their timing.

That did suck at the end with them post-match promo being cut off. I'm sure they want to get the timing down, but did they really HAVE to finish this for a certain time? Like it's a free stream on B/R Live, what is exactly the need to stop by a certain time? They clearly didn't know if they were still on the air, but it did stay on until they finished. So, what gives?

I think it was a good show. Yeah there were some production issues and long matches but im sure they will figure out what there style is with time. It is still too early to expect wwe, njpw, etc levels.

Overall, I thought it was a solid show. I didn't think any of the matches were all that memorable, and of course the main event is simply too long to ever sit through again. But no real problems, unlike Fyter Fest. I really liked that the entrance music was clear and clearly audible. I know Kenny had a big problem with that at Double or Nothing, so it's good to see that they are not only listening, but fixing problems.
The new edit of Kenny's theme is good. The full thing is simply too long to get into for a wrestling entrance, so it's good that they've cut it down to be concise.
MJF mocking Shawn Spears with the Perfect 10 taunt and flipping him off was great! Big surprise to have Awesome Kong show up as Brandi Rhodes' backup. It was a nice plot twist, clearly establishing Brandi as a conniving heel, having played Allie before the match. Good step, considering AEW has had such a big problem so far in establishing faces and heels. Another big surprise, the staredown between Aja Kong and Awesome Kong was a great moment. Definitely want that match at All Out.
Luchasaurus has such a unique look. He's so good, so versatile. Guy is a star.
Justin Roberts announcing the time remaining during each match is really distracting, takes me out of the moment. If they're going to have time limits, at least do an on-screen timer instead? There's simply too much audio-wise going on in a match already, with commentary, the crowd, the action in the ring. Adding another layer of sound that really doesn't need to be there is a bad move. Makes it difficult to stay focused on the match at times.

Overall I enjoyed the show. Yes, it had some issues as others have already stated, but I look forward to future shows! There is just too much good wrestling to watch and I don’t have time for it all. I feel like I kinda have to choose between aew and njpw simply because I don’t have time for both on top of the other stuff I watch.

Very solid show overall with everything pacing really nicely. I agree that while the matches were good, only a few of them really stuck out to me. Which isn't a bad thing by any means. Not every show is going to be five stars. With that said, I feel like all three AEW shows thus far have done a really great job of introducing their core roster so when their weekly TV rolls around I'll be fairly familiar with a lot of their talent. I also really liked the setup for this event. Very unique having a wrestling show in an amphitheatre, but I thought it visually turned out really nicely on screen. The card for All Out is also shaping up to be a really fun show with some intriguing storylines heading into the event.
One thing that somewhat bothered me throughout the show was how much leeway the referees gave the wrestlers in terms of interference or general rule breaking. The three-way tag was fun but Marko Stunt fully interfered in the match in front of the referee and traditionally something like that would/should cause a DQ unless the ref was unaware. To a lesser extent this was also happening during the Omega and CIMA match, only with them fighting on the outside without being counted out. The Attitude Era was really bad for this kind of stuff as well. I know it's a bit nit picky, but if AEW is trying to position themselves as more "sports oriented" promotion then I think it's important to stick to the rules of a wrestling match as one would for any combat sport matchup, or at the very least have the referee distracted if they're going to go that route.
I'm looking forward to seeing where things land going into October. It seems as though AEW's focus for the first six months to a year will be crowning their champions, starting at All Out. I could see a big part of their TV storylines being driven by various qualifying matches and tournaments, which should make for some really great matchups in the fall.

I didn't like the show. There were just too many issues from production to ring work for me to enjoy it. Marvez is just terrible on commentary, and his lack of any sort of emotion really makes the product feel flat. The show just didn't feel like it built up. They were spamming false finishes from the pre-show on, and most of the matches just felt far too long. There's no world where Brandi Rhodes should be working a 15 minute match. And if Hangman is supposed to be a legit title contender, he should have put Kip away in a 5-7 minute match. Make him look strong. Nearly going to a time limit draw against a midcard worker isn't a great build for the title match. I get that they wanted to push the knee injury, but that still could have been done in a shorter match.
This card just felt like indie spotfest after indie spotfest. The first few shows had a nice variety to the cards in style and pacing of the matches. These matches all felt too similar.
It also really bothered me that they had a huge crowd in what is probably the coolest venue I can remember, and the hard camera shot was of 20 people in the crowd and a wall that made it look like an Impact TV taping crowd. There has to be a better configuration for the building that could have really given that "big show" feel on tv.
I'm still a big fan of the product, but this show was an absolute dud for me. I really hope they can pull it all together for All Out and the tv debut, and hopefully have some surprises for those shows.

The refs not forcing other wrestlers out of the ring during tag matches is annoying too. They mentioned at double or nothing they said it would be a 10 count which is fine, but that hasn’t been mentioned since. Why are there tags if they don’t mean anything?

The refs are very loose like Japanese wrestling refs.

I loved the refs letting stuff go. Thought it was nice to not have some contrived ref distracted spot. Especially when the guys in the ring were initiating contact with talent on the outside. It’s also literally the exact same thing that happened in the mixed tag match that opened Raw.

Didn't see it yet, but have read little in the way of people saying Bucks Vs Rhodes lived up to what I thought it would. To all that saw it, what would have made it the bout that should have drawn high fanfare?

It was a ok show although it did have some flaws to it like the camera angles and lighting being way to Bright but mostly it's because of the announcers Jr is perfect and dose his best to carry everything and put it over but the other two they have are boring and just compleatly suck at it also they don't really mix well in the role either. they instantly need to find replacements asap before the TV deal starts and get people who can relate keep up and have full wrestling history knowledge and chemistry with Jr on commentary such as Jerry Lawler Joey styles tazz Mike tenay tony schiavone jim cornette Don West Al snow hell even cm punk could work out if he wanted to go that route any of these names would work out way better than the 2 they have put with him now

Makes it difficult to stay focused on the match at times. I don't mind it at all. They do it like that in NJPW, so at least for me I'm used to hearing it all the time. Plus, if it's not announced then the wrestlers don't know. I'd rather them hear it from the ring announcer as opposed to always looking at the tron to see a timer.

I finished Fight For The Fallen earlier and thought it was a good show, it was just a little long.
