Now here's a question I thought might get a good bit of conversation flowing marino13 What's everyone's favourite one of these scenes....some have been admittedly better than others. Whilst some have been "meh" others have really got you tuned up for what's to come.... mine is Thors hammer. Man that drove my imagination like crazy..... How was he going to fit? How would they explain Asgard??? Why is Mjolnir away from Thor etc etc etc. close 2nd would be the Collector at the end of Thor II. this scene not only confirms the Infinity Gems/Stones but cracks the MCU wide open for GOTG. great stuff.....yours? EDIT** I f*ckin forgot Ant Man 2....LOL.

Groot/Howard the Duck for me.
I would say Cap's after Spider-Man, but I have so much PTSD from sitting in the theater with a bladder full of piss waiting to see it and leave for the bathroom. GODDAMN YOU, STEVE.

Man, that's tough. I almost hate to pick, but I got to go with the Avengers mid credit scene where we first see Thanos. I love how the couple seconds he was on screen left a shadow over the entire franchise for years. And good god, did he deliver!!
Edit: S***, I didn't realize there was a poll. That would have helped refresh my old man memory.

That's tough. I really liked Mjรถlnir reveal because I didn't know they were making a Thor movie or anything at the time because I wasn't following that this was all connected. But as a Nordic man, I could instantly tell that was Mjรถlnir. Thor has been my favorite 'being' since I was like 3. That is why thunderstorms are my favorite. I thought Cap at the end of Homecoming was by far the funniest. I'll say Thanos at the end of Avengers because of the impact though.

Nick Fury in Iron Man, without question.
It feels like a lifetime ago where these teasers weren't a thing to even begin with. They're so commonplace now that it's as expected that they'll be there as the Marvel signature at the top of the film, but man - that's the one that really got things going. If you pair it off with the fact that, at the time, I was knee-deep in my current run comic book obsession and that The Ultimates (where Fury was first portrayed as a Samuel L. Jackson lookalike for ~6 years) was one of my favorite runs, that being tacked on to the end was nothing short of perfection.
Other items of note has instilled similar feelings of excitement in me (chief among them being Mjolnir at the end of IM2 and Cap's modern day revelation (which in its own way mirrored something similar from The Ultimates)), but I don't feel like anything with fully match that first instance. Man, what a time to have free reign to see movies (I had a kid in 2014 and haven't seen a Marvel film since GotG and Winter Soldier).

Nobody in the world expected Nick Fury showing up at the end of Iron Man.
โIโm here to talk to you about the Avengers Initiative.โ
10 words that made cinema history, and changed what people expect from Superhero movies forever.
Still get goosebumps watching that stinger to this day!

Such a hard choice! I know it is obvious, but I have to go for the first reveal of Thanos. It was so cool to see him, I remember thinking that Lady Death might have something to do with it by the way that other guy was talking to him. Of course, him saying "death" was meant to be taken literally and there was nothing in it lol. I also really liked the reveal at the end of Iron Man 2. The MCU was so new, cool and hip (and it still is) and that raised so many questions. Also, Thanos's ship at the end of Ragnarok was amazing. Just by the sheer size of it you knew he was going to, excuse my language, crap up!

To be honest with you my all time favorite credits scene is not from the MCU it is the one from The Wolverine as I knew it was setting up Days of Future Past which is one of my all time favorite story arcs of any kind of media.

While it was admittedly very cool to see Thanos at the end of Avengers it was just a tease. My favorite post credit scene is Thanos and the gauntlet in Age of Ultron because it meant that after all the teases we were finally getting the movie I really really wanted to see in Infinity War.
As for GOTG2, the only end scene that matters is Adam Warlock's cocoon. That has to be the seed for GOTG3.
While not a part of the MCU, I also really enjoyed the pseudo-reveal of Carnage at the end of Venom. That's a sequel I hope gets made because superhero movies are the rare exception to the rule that sequels are worse than the first movie. They don't have to spend at least half the movie telling an origin that most of us already know and can just go straight to the good stuff.
